Not even USC deserves a drunk head coach
USC Assistant Coaches Reportedly Believed Sarkisian Was Drunk During ASU Game
USC athletic director Pat Haden asked head football coach Steve Sarkisian to take an indefinite leave of absence Sunday afternoon, and some believe the problem can be traced back to when he appeared to be intoxicated on stage at a booster event this summer.

But things seem to have been worse than people thought. There are some USC assistant coaches that believe Sarkisian was drunk during the Trojans’ game against Arizona State, according to Los Angeles Daily News’ Scott Wolf, and was even pulled out of a player huddle on the sidelines because of it.

    InsideUSC @InsideUSC
BREAKING: Some #USC assistant coaches believed Steve Sarkisian was drunk during the Arizona State game on Sept. 26.
"His eyes didn't look right, he was too animated,'' said one #USC coach
BREAKING: #USC assistants pulled Steve Sarkisian out of player huddle on sideline during Arizona State game. Believed he was not sober
#USC players noted Sarkisian not sober at team meeting, then he went missing, never went to practice field. Talked to Pat Haden on phone
BREAKING: #USC players said they smelled alcohol on Steve Sarkisian's breath during team meeting this morning

We can only hope that, if the reports are true, Sarkisian gets all the help he needs. And questions will soon surface regarding timing of Haden’s response to all of this. We’ll bring you updates as we get them.

    @ReignofTroy: To summarize #USC's day:

    1. Dropped out of polls
    2. Coach goes on leave
    3. Star LB de-commits
    4. Preseason AA center tears ACL

Unbelievable. This day is getting worse by the minute.

Sark is Kiffin 2.0, probably even worse as I don't recall Kiffin being plastered at the games. They have to make a change and now
In the NFL, Denver has a fantastic defense but the team will never survive once the weather starts to turn because Peyton is absolutely finished. He has nothing on his throws in perfect weather. Imagine it when it is cold and windy.

Competition is ass tho. But yeah, Randle and Russell being on the floor will save Kobe a ton of energy with their ball handling and he's obviously skilled enough to play off the ball in a catch and shoot role. He's basically back in the role he was in with the Olympic team. Should get a better defensive effort as a result. Not to mention you add Lou Williams as another ball handler as well

USC needs to start over. Sark is probably done. Haden needs to go too, he's a joke.

Yeah, I don't know what the Grizzlies were or weren't doing, but all this is is a glorified scrimmage.

Clearly, Sark's reign at USC is over. Eve though the past 3 games have made me crazy with the way he coaches, as a human and a person I truly, truly hope he can make it through this. It sounds as if things are really, really bad with him and he is going through and will have to exercise some major demons.

My thoughts are out to him. Fight On Coach Sark!

On a secondary note, I think USC will go very hard after Chip Kelly and Kyle Whittingham. They will likely bring back Ed Orgeron and make things right.

Super anxious to see what happens.

I actually don't dislike Sark. But I think he's done after all this stuff.

USC needs to hire a legit coach. And no leftovers from the Pete Carroll ERA.

USC is wedded to the past glories, which is why Stanford keeps beating them...and losing to teams they shouldnt be. Other teams have figured out the Carroll way....so time to move on.

Don't think Chip would return to the NCAA
or at least not so soon
From what I've read he prefers the NFL and HATES dealing with boosters
Perhaps a more? enticing job at UT also if he does decide to go back
But from the looks of it hes prob gonna stay in the NFL where he has all the power and only deals with one owner
