O-line was among the best all year last year in pass pro, got a boost in the run game today no doubt, get Penn back and it's just over the top at that point.
Pass rush is good too, Edwards looks good for the comeback, Autry gets after it, but who knows what happens with Aldon, don't too much care at this point either tho.
Irvin is a whole different type of athlete from Aldon, Irvin is comin off the edge like a missile, decent in coverage too.
Time to spruce up on the corner spot.

At this point, #Chiefs Sean Smith is going to market. He'll have takers, too. Keep an eye on the #Raiders.

Ugh I kinda wanted Martin but at the same time, he's a little inconsistent so that was scary.....

If free agency plays out well enough... I'm open to the Ezekiel Elliot draft train (that is if he falls to #14 probably not)

Bruce Irvin had 17 combined sacks and hits last year; 8th best among 4-3 or 3-4 linebackers last year. Khalil Mack had 24 which was 2nd most

I wanted Martin too, but I'm waiting to see the salary on Irvin since they still have some glaring needs.
They opened FA with 60MM to spend, but they'll probably only spend 40 of it and roll the rest over to next season to help take care of Carr, Mack, and Amerson.
6MM goes to the draft, so they had roughly 28-30MM in space to spend after signing Osemele.
I'm assuming Irvin will be around 10MM since JPP got that today and that of course leaves about 18-20MM to work with.
I'm guessing they're gonna offer 10MM or more to Sean Smith or maybe Janoris Jenkins (there's interest in Jenkins now reportedly http://www.todayspigskin.com/pigski...sly-interested-free-agent-cb-janoris-jenkins/ )
So after that they're down to 8-10MM and then who knows after that...maybe Weddle or George Iloka.

Who you guys like more? Jenkins or Smith?

I kinda like Smith, seems a bit more consistent, super big, and steal from a division rival. But either would be a big upgrade.

Jenkins actually fits more of what KNJ likes, the ball hawk that'll look for turnovers.
But Reg likes the big corners that can press and disrupt timing.
Either one works for me, Jenkins is ranked higher on NFL Network's FA list.
Reg has already landed the #3 and #5 guys on NFL Network's list, Jenkins is ranked #10 and Smith #14
Again, I'm good with either one, Amerson just needs a good partner.
Would be nice to take Smith from KC, but it also would be nice to take Jenkins from the Rams.
Rashad Johnson into the mix for safety along with Weddle and Iloka.

If we grab a CB and S in free agency, which I fully expect... the draft is going to be very interesting, anything will be in play

Yeah at that point I could see them going straight up BPA that's not a QB
Meaning, let fools fuck up and pass over Laquon Treadwell if they want to...DC will have ANOTHER pass catching weapon.

Gotta make it clear, I love what Crabtree did for us and what he could do going forward, no question.
However, this is gonna be his age 29 season, so if he can give us 2 more years I'll be happy with that.
But the Raiders face no cap penalty if they cut Crab after next season and Treadwell is 20 years old, Coop is 21.
That Coop/Treadwell tandem would go long and strong [no homo]
Although I like the idea of getting Elliot as well.

I'm on the Elliot train if they win big on defense in free agency... Only issues are Elliot probably won't fall to 14 and with signing all free agents on defense, you risk getting old quick.

I still like Hargreaves quite a bit, good chance he's there at 14. I was high on Jaylon Smith pre this nerve damage concern that might see him fall dramatically. (would still take a flyer in a later round); a T like Stanley or Decker could be in play. Maybe a Reggie Ragland, true MLB type to middle Mack/Irvin. Although not a huge Ragland fan.

    IDK ton of options

Welp, Giants snuck in while everybody was sleep, landed Janoris Jenkins
Whoa, they're saying more than 12MM a year for Jenkins.

That depends on what system you guys run. Smith is only gonna excel in press man coverage.

Bruce Irvin's deal with #Raiders is 4 years, $37 million, including $12.5M in the first year.

With market set ($12 mil a year), told it’s down to #Raiders and three other teams for prized FA CB Sean Smith

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 11m11 minutes ago
The #Cowboys deal for LB Rolando McClain is for 1 year worth $5M, source said.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 39m39 minutes ago
The #Dolphins are pulling the transition tag off DE Olivier Vernon, per team source. It was the expected move, but now official.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 50m50 minutes ago
The #Lions are getting WR Marvin Jones, source said, for what is expected to be about $8M per year (as @diannaESPN said).

5yrs/62MM for Jenkins, he cleaned up, took a shit on that 9MM a year/5yr Rams' offer no question

If they don't get Smith, Hayward or Lane are probably the next guys.
Possibly Boykin, but I'm sure that'd bring the 14th pick back into focus as far as CB goes
