    i was thinking more along the lines of you seeking a buddy to talk football with..maybe somebody who roots for the same team as yourself. you come off real weak just riding the Raiders all the time..pregnant yet?

    even though the fight should have been signed a couple years ago
    manny/floyd is still one of the most interesting matchups in years, perhaps decades

    Suh is actually a pretty decent person off the field....can't say that for too many NFL players nowadays. Besides, the Raiders can't be picky with who they pursue. People with his talent aren't FAs too often.

    Yep. I'm willing to pay whatever the pay per view price is going to be.....can't recall the last time I said that about a boxing fight.

    Yap. Thoughtful guy, does a lot for the community in Detroit and his home base in Portland. Was named the most charitable pro athlete in the US in 2011..voted that by his peers..who also voted him the most dirty player in the league ( well, just the NFL guys). Lol

    Execs are saying he's the best player to hit the free agent market since Reggie White. Give him a blank check. He can either load up on as much money as he wants or make it a bit team friendly so the Raiders can better build around him. Either way they'll have enough space to add some other impact guys along with him.

    Now the Raiders have about 69 mill in cap space available, and more could be coming if Schaub is dumped.

    Good fights. I think the last one I paid for was Lennox Lewis vs Tyson. Lewis got a knockout around the 8th round.

    Yap. Always subtract 7M for the draft, though..that's where we really stand. I estimate it'll round out at about 65M..maybe ( probably) a few million more as far what they'll be able to play with in free agency.

    Cut Schaub..probably Antonio Smith ( because of possibly Suh and likely Knighton), Roach out, Janikowski's probably out since they signed my guy Tavechhio out of Cal, Kevin Boothe out, and Usama Young is probably out as well.

    A lot of Raiders fans are debating on who they want between White/Cooper at WR if we draft a WR at the #4 pick. I'm torn....White is growing on a lot of scouts and people, but Cooper still seems like the safer pick.

    No debate....I was hoping for him to have 1 last great fight, but it was wishful thinking. Lennox was really good, but he was fortunate to get Mike in that state.

    jpl, we're actually at about 64.2M..cutting Schaub would put them at about 70M. Take away the 7M for the draft..back to about 63M to use in free agency, but that's before perhaps cutting the rest of those guys, so yeah..maybe around 68-69M at the end of the day.

    Lennox was a menace as a younger guy..Bowe dodged him altogether. I don't know if Tyson really wanted to see Lennox back then either. They sparred as young guys and supposedly Lennox gave Tyson all he wanted.

    personally i never thought lennox was very good
    horrible footwork that even the great steward could barely improve
    sometimes there are flukes, but [otherwise] great champions shouldn't lose to scrubs in their prime
