In the Lakers case, I'd rather sign him than trade for him. Assets like Randle and a top pick this year might interest them. But I'd keep Randle, Draft an Okafor/Towns/Mudiay/Russell/Stanley Johnson, and sign a marquee guy or two this off-season whether it is Dragic, Rondo at no more than 10 per, Love, Aldridge, Gasol, Monroe, DeAndre, etc. Then use that as ammo to go get a Durant. Cap is projected at 90 million in 2016, and then 105 million in 2017.

UAB staying in the game vs UCLA by chucking three after three, most of them are going in.

What a game by UCLA. I know UAB isn't great or anything but that was a great performance by the 5 starters

    Steve Nash announces retirement.

    What a fucking asshole!!

Had that shithead done that when he got injured AGAIN, he could have saved the Lakers millions but that little fag was too fucking greedy and selfish to think about the team first.

Fuck him. I hope he gets hit by a fucking bus...................and lives because that little fucker should suffer for a while.

We all would have done what Nash did....the Lakers were dumb enough to trade for a declining PG that plays zero defense.

We need to lose the two games against the 76ers and solidy ourselves with the 2nd/3rd best record

If we get either top 3 picks I will not complain.
However I think Towns will be the best player down the line. Mudiay would probably be my number two choice with Parker and DLo rounding out spots 3/4 respectively

I wouldn't necessarily draft him in the top 5 (possibly #5) but Stanley Johnson is gonna be a beast in his prime imo. James Harden type scoring in the mold of a LBJ body type.
Plus hell give you excellent defense. I could easily see 25 ppg, 8 rpg, 5 apg in his prime.

But Towns is my dude atm

LOS ANGELES -- Organizers behind a proposed stadium near Los Angeles that could become home for the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders announced Saturday that they reached an important, early benchmark on the path to construction. A coalition of supporters, including labor unions, has collected over 14,000 petition signatures in the city of Carson, nearly twice the number needed to place the stadium plan before local voters.

Rams still have the inside track. They can break ground once they get the permits and get relocation approval. Should happen by the end of the year.

    http://grantland.com/the-triangle/w...without-durant-for-the-oklahoma-city-thunder/

the link has more on what i was talking about with Durant. and when Durant does turn free agent, don't put it past him to sign a 1yr deal that takes him to what's probably gonna be a lockout in 2017 and a new CBA thereafter..so he'd get a shiny, new contract from 2017 on.

luckily for every team that has interest in Durant, his contract is totally done with after next season..meaning that he's not opting out of the final year or anything like that. it's just over. because if it weren't just done with, i could see him picking up the last year of his deal to just get him to the new CBA in 2017.

really i think all of the best players that are turning free agents in the near future are gonna wait until 2017 because more money is gonna be in play. so 2017's free agent pool could be ridiculous.
