We're going to be talking about the Cavs getting Kay Felder a couple of years from now...

    http://www.insidesocal.com/lakers/2...-select-croatian-center-ivica-zubac-at-no-32/

Yeah, Zubac does almost look like a young Marc Gasol, except without the big belly that Marc had at 19. Hah
Remember when LAL nabbed Marc in the 2nd round once upon a time, around the 50th pick or so?
And Zubac shoots 85% from the FT line as well, so no liability there and potential to add a mid-range J.
Weakness is lateral quickness, which was the same for Marc back then and he still became an impact defender @ 7'1", same size as Zubac.
So it looks like his ceiling is probably Marc Gasol and his floor is Zaza Pachulia..racist
    I slept on this one initially..racist x 2

I love our draft!! Wonder what the FO is thinking about next year. Reports about Horford are encouraging but do we want to be better lol. Waiting for after July 7 at 12.01 to see what we can attract.

I'm not an accredited expert like all these other analysts but I can't believe the talk about why OKC got Oladipo. All I'm hearing is that they got him to show that they are serious to Durant which is a consideration of course but they totally ignore that he is a guard and they are about to lose Russell next year. Then they begin the speculation about what Durant is going to do, he's going here, there everywhere. WHY the fuck would he leave when he's about to hit the motherload when he becomes a 10 year player???? When the cap goes up and when they are soooo close to a title. Anyone think he's not doing a 1 + an opt out? Experts yeah right.

Horford's good enough for me, and hell, I have reservations regarding his willingness to join a non-contender, so while we think we may be able to do better than Horford, he may be thinking he can do better than the Lakers. Hah
Still, I think he's the most realistic of the top guys.
LeBron's staying, Durant's probably staying, can't see Whiteside leaving Miami, so it pretty much falls to Horford thanks to Atlanta being so blah for the majority of the time and taking steps backward as of late.
If it were me I'd go ahead and give Horford the max and start putting some respeck back on the Lakers' name, just get the damn all-star/professional.

Grab his ATL teammate Kent Bazemore and bring him back to LAL.
Also get his old ATL teammate Marvin Williams and bring him in to compete with Ingram at SF since you probably can't convince Horford to sign and play with a bunch of 2nd year/rookie guys, get some established guys that he knows can compete, one's that he has chemistry with and would probably like to play with him again.
Will be plenty of minutes available for Ingram whether it's starting or coming off the bench initially.
But those would be my 3, realistically, basically raid Atlanta..Lou Williams is a former ATL teammate of Horford's as well.
Oh and bring the versatile paint warrior Brandon Bass back to back up Horford and be the experienced/small ball option complement to Zubac's size and inexperience.

    Al Horford/Brandon Bass/Ivica Zubac
Julius Randle/Larry Nance Jr./Metta World Peace
    Marvin Williams/Brandon Ingram
    Kent Bazemore/Lou Williams/Anthony Brown
    D'angelo Russell/Jordan Clarkson/Marcelo Huertas

If that team doesn't win at least 41 games in year one I'd be disappointed, and 41 wins would put them in the 8-seed picture.
It's a better team than Utah's 40 win team from this past season, and of course the Rockets were 41-41 8th seeders in the west and they were garbage for most of last season.

The Rockettes may be toast this year. With Harden's continued ball hogging, disgust with playing defense, and now D'Antoni as coach, Dwight is as good as gone.

There is really no one on that roster that makes me think "contender". They may not make the playoffs next year.

Im drinking a Lagunitas IPA for the first time because i hear so much about how good they are.
    Not enjoying it at all.
For less money i could have gotten 2 big ol cans of Fosters and been much much happier.
Why are Lagunitas so popular, i dont get it?

I don't like any IPAs. Too bitter for me.
I live in the wrong town...it's IPA central down here, and it all tastes like soap to me.

I'll take a cheap domestic or mexican beer anytime over that bitter hipster stuff.

Thats what im noticing. Its bitter in a bad way.
I like bitter, the natural bitterness of hops.
I have no idea what this is. Soapy is a good word.
Fosters ale is bitter in a crisp way. The lager is stronger but still crisp in the mouth. I usually buy one of each since stater bros sells them at 2 cans for 4 bucks.
I had miller high life for the first time in 20 years and while it seemed weak the flavor was much better than this.

If you like lagers, try Czechvar...it is the original Budweiser. When they started importing into the US, they couldn't even use their own name because Bud owned the trademark. But it's 1000% better.

You might like a Belgian white ale, like Hoegaarden.

I like German wheats like Weisenstephaner.

You might want to try a Belgian ale like Gulden Draak, but that stuff is strong. It will mess you up if you are not careful.

Regular Lagunitas IPA is actually fairly mild for an IPA, so if you don't have a taste for it you'll likely hate other IPAs even more. I actually find it offensive to call IPA a "hipster" beer as I've grown quite fond of a good IPA. They are clearly not for everyone, as plenty of people turn their head in disgust - but honestly, there are people who will turn their nose up to any beer as they are all an acquired taste.

There are people who get IPAs and those who don't. It's ok to not get it, but I can assure you those who do get it aren't just faking it nor do they have bad taste. I just finished a Torpedo IPA, damn good beer.
