Point is he kept his word and he's is the best player on the planet and supremely confident that he could make them all better. Doesn't hurt that it's the Eastern confidence so that admittedly is a factor. There was no way he could know about getting Love though, no absolutes in life. I don't like LeBron so this perspective isn't coming from a fan.

And none of that matters if Draymond Green isn't suspended for Game 5
People have gotta come to grips with it...GSW was winning that series in 5 games if not for that.
    However, Green deserved it.

Didn't he deserve being out of the OKC series? They were down to the Thunder remember. So it would be a moot point about the finals. My original point is that he kept his word. Here's what Durant says:

“The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player — as that has always steered me in the right direction,” Durant wrote. “But I am also at a point in my life where it is of equal importance to find an opportunity that encourages my evolution as a man: moving out of my comfort zone to a new city and community which offers the greatest potential for my contribution and personal growth. With this in mind, I have decided that I am going to join the Golden State Warriors.

Just say your chasing a title!!! Have more respect for you then Kevin.

    Yes, Draymond's suspension directly effected " LeBron's promise "
    Biggest assist of Draymond's life

Barring injury, or an even more extraordinary run of nut shots by Draymond Green, GSW was probably going back to the Finals anyway.
I'm more interested in the domino effect here with Westbrook and who the Warriors give up to make KD fit, looks like Bogut is out and going to Dallas.
But just the fact that OKC fans are now gonna blame Westbrook for Durant leaving has to make Presti get the trade talks started, IMO, and Westbrook should try and control where he ends up by telling teams he won't re-sign " so don't even waste your time trading for me. "
And Presti needs to make OKC bad and quick, tank for one of next year's top guys in the draft,

With that said LAL should be in the mix for Westbrook right now, immediately, have already shown that they'll make moves without a future commitment ( ex. Dwight)
I don't think Westbrook would leave LAL anyway, but just saying.
So who wouldn't LAL trade for Westbrook?
Me personally, I'd keep Randle and Ingram, both are too dynamic at the forward spots and maybe keep Clarkson as well ( thanking Clarkson for his unselfishness with his new contract)
I like DLo's game a ton, but I'd trade him for Westbrook today.
Westbrook goes into DLo's spot and gets the ball rolling, should do it ASAP too just in case any of the free agents that have agreed to deals wanna pull a " Deandre Jordan " and back out of their agreements to join Westbrook with LAL. Lol
Lakers are owed a ton of revenge points for the CP3 deal being vetoed, so just raid any and all teams' agreements, deal can't be official until July 7th anyway.

Some will say that LAL has future cap space, so why not just wait and sign Westbrook in FA after next season?
The problem with waiting is there's no guarantee that Westbrook would pick LAL in free agency.
So get Westbrook now, if possible and if it's a reasonable deal...and if they feel they can build around him, get the ball rolling.
Presti should want 1 big piece, IMO, that way he can tank easier.
DLo can be that piece for OKC.

Here comes the aftermath of the Durant choice. Barnes like I wrote earlier now a UFA, Bogut traded to Dallas, Ezeli probably next. GS is going to look interesting next year. Who plays defense?
