An actual enjoyable playoff game in the NBA. Heat shock everyone and force a game 7 due to Jimmy Butler scoring 47. Oh how sweet it would be if they could win game 7 on Sunday
In fairness to the Sixers, Fultz was pretty much everyone's consensus #1 pick. Since I don't follow pro hoops anymore, I have no idea what his story has been, since. I assume he's been a dud? But Lonzo over Tatum. I remember Tatum higher on many lists. Add in the Ball-dad circus show and it should've been a no-brainer for the Lakers. Just one of many bad decisions during this era.
wasn't any baseball to watch so i watched part of the second half and man is this a shadow of what the nba finals used to be zero plays, all gun the 3 pt shot and missed free throws its garbage but fuck the smeltics
He had a bad case of the yips where his shot had a weird twitch in it and he couldn't buy a jumper. Got a second shot in Orlando and was doing decent but sadly tore his ACL.
Warriors have to feel amazing to come away with a win tonight. They were awful from 3 and Steph was awful. Wiggins saved their asses. Hopefully they have 1 more win in them.
That McHale clothesline still makes my blood boil. But that's what I loved about that Laker team. Get punched in the mouth and punch right back. And I'm not talking only hard play. I'm also talking scoreboard. Today's team (I'm talking to you Dodgers) just don't have that fire. No pride. Easy going manager and an easy going team. As long as they're getting paid kazillions, all's good. Put in a day's work, get paid, if they win... great. If they don't... no biggie. Dave will still be their friend.
. Heinsohn: "I really believe McHale was trying to hold Rambis up ..." Statements like that are typical of east coast white boys from Catholic prep schools. And as a poor white trash west coast kid whose parents worked multiple jobs so I could afford a Catholic prep school, I'm uniquely qualified to say this: I'm glad those people are dead or dying soon. They voted in these democrats and empowered the identity politics which have ruined our economy, divided our country, and made rationalization into a sacrament. Seriously.... 'HOLD RAMBIS UP?!" D'Fuk....
I love this move by the Kings @LAKings WELCOME TO LA, KEVIN! We've acquired Kevin Fiala from the @mnwild in exchange for D Brock Faber and our 2022 first-round pick.
Kings are reportedly going to sign him to an extension. A physical 25 yr old coming off a 33 goal season........what's not to like?
