Yes...more pressing problems front and center than things we can never change.
First and foremost, imo, is wtf are we going to do in the ninth inning from now on, when we are only ahead by one run? Eh?
Because Jansen looks dead set on giving up at least one run on a pretty regular basis.
And it's not one team or two, or specific players. He shares his generosity without any prejudice...
Idk, man. Seems to me we better start hitting like fools or Kenley needs to do something drastically different from his recent gigs.
Might be an omen to work Julio in there closing more often than not.
I'm supremely confident that they won't do a damn thing.
    Nada.
Not enough of a runway, you see...

Thank you... I thought this thread was gonna be all about the girl that got away and the time the dog died.

    Yeah...he was excellent.
I typed that mistake as the Pirates were looking like they'd have a big first inning.
    Ryu was superb.
But Pollock is a taint licking disappointment.

he’s like brandon mccarthy, only less funny and plays every day
but not to worry... he’ll probably sever a limb shaving soon enough

What’s the deal with Muncy never playing second? That annoys me

He also doesn't seem to play very often against lefties, even though he mashed them last year and is hitting better against lefties this year than right-handers. I will say this though... He looks clueless and half of his at-bats.

If he’s an .800 OPS guy and can only play 1B vs RHP he’s useless. If he’s an .850 OPS guy who can play against everyone and can play a little 2B he’s a 4 win player.

    I agree.
But Dave Robots and the SportsNet LA propaganda machine made it a point coming out of spring training that Kike was "given" the starting role second base. There was a meeting and everything.
    So, yeah.
Stupid. Especially because now if Dave goes back on it, Kike will feel like he lost the job that never should've been awarded in the first place.
Kike can easily get plenty of ABs platooning in LF with Joc and roaming around the infield when guys need rest.
