skilled enough to get a gun on a roof 100 yards from the president apparently
no telling if he was trained by anyone or not but if he was his nerves got to him i guess
was thinking who would do that knowing they would certainly die no matter how it went
then thought about the imbeciles that set fire to themselves to prove a point

I don't know anything about guns, but the guy seems like a decent shot to me. Trump just happened to move his head at the exact right moment. If Trump hadn’t gestured, he’d be dead.

    epic rant from Kimball

Last week at a fundraiser, Joe Biden said that it was time to get beyond his poor performance at his June 27 debate with Donald Trump. Now, said Biden, “it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.”

Politico described that as a “forceful message from Biden.”

I guess someone was paying attention. Shortly after 6 p.m. ET last night, just minutes after Donald Trump took the stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, several shots rang out. One person was killed, two were seriously wounded. The real target, of course, was the former president. He escaped with a flesh wound to the top of his right ear. Images of a defiant Trump, bloodied but waving his fist in the air as he was shuttled off stage by a gaggle of Secret Service agents, have flooded the internet. Exactly why it was that the Secret Service failed to pick up a rooftop shooter a mere 150 yards away is a question that many will be asking.

In a post immediately after the event, Trump thanked the Secret Service and local law enforcement. He also said, “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.” I hesitate to contradict the former president, but I would suggest that few things are more credible than that someone should try to murder him.

In some ways, the surprising thing is that it has taken until July 2024, four months before the election, for someone to try to assassinate the once and probably future president. After all, since before Trump was elected in 2016, the Democrats and their poodles in the media, Hollywood and fetid corners of celebrity sweepstakes have been baying for Trump’s blood. Remember Kathy Griffin holding up a fake bloodied head of Trump in 2017? Remember the staging of Julius Caesar in which the title character, cut down by Brutus and the other assassins, is clearly a stand-in for Trump?

Perhaps the most pathetic element in the regime response to the attempt on Trump’s life has been the declaration, repeated ad nauseam, that the authorities were still searching for a motive. An FBI field agent in Pennsylvania parroted that stupidity. “We do not currently have a motive,” he said. Ditto the housebroken media. The shooter’s “motivations remain unknown,” bleated a characteristically malicious column in MSNBC.

I can help those claiming to be in the dark about the shooter’s motive. His motive was to kill Donald Trump. And why not? Leviathan has been waging war against Trump since before he was elected in 2016. Remember the Russian Collusion Hoax? That $40 million entertainment was fabricated by Hillary Clinton and her pals in the FBI and the intelligence services.

Remember the fake impeachments of Trump towards the end of his first term? They too were groundless. So are the multiple indictments that have been brought by the odiferous Merrick Garland and minions like Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg, not to mention swivel-eyed judges like Juan Merchan, Arthur Engoron and Tanya Chutkan.

That violent and ongoing tsunami of lawfare against Trump was meant to destroy him. Possibly it would bankrupt him — remember Engoron’s preposterous fine of nearly half a billion dollars? Maybe it would simply put him away in jail for a few decades. Or possibly the judges’ machinations and gag orders would simply prevent Trump from campaigning.

Is it any wonder that that the “woke” forces arrayed against Trump have moved on to something more kinetic?

Regime megaphones keep screaming that Trump is out to destroy “Our Democracy™.” But any dispassionate observer knows that Donald Trump’s real tort was to have been elected in a free and open election. The voters chose Trump in 2016. The regime answered that Trump was illegitimate. Why? Because the regime did not approve of Trump. They believe that they alone, not the voters, get to determine who is fit to be president.

Donald Trump is not the threat to democracy. The woke establishment is. Yesterday’s attempt to murder Trump shows with the greatest possible clarity what the stakes are in this election. Yes, democracy is on the ballot, just as Joe Biden’s script writers keep telling us.

But the choice is between the rancid, arrogant dispensation of the “woke” elite and the rough-hewn, America-first populism of Donald Trump. I do not want to hear another syllable about what a “threat to democracy” January 6 was. The real threat has burrowed deep inside the governing, globalist consensus. We saw it parading naked yesterday in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Given DeNiro's fake-tough guy commentary about Trump (gonna kick his ass) and Trump's defiant reaction IMMEDIATELY after he was shot ... I'm reminded of Max Cady in the Cape Fear remake ... DeNiro looks like he's playing Trump more than anything...

none of this shit coming out is an accident and if you don't think it was a stand down set up assassination watch this
and there's others i can't find showing the guy getting on the roof and crawling from the back on video w people shouting!
apparently the SS snipers were absolutely given orders not to shoot until he shot and then we all see the snipers flinch motherfucker

I think Vance, but for some reason, I can't vote. Anyway, Vance is a strategically and tactically smart pick.
As Ohio goes, so goes the country.
    Slick move.

The poll closed before Trump announced his choice. That's why you couldn't vote.

    Anyway... Vance it is.

This was a pretty good appeal to a Kennedy option...

yeah i didn't get anything more out of that then and appeal and w Kennedy as vp might even give the left more incentive to vanquish Trump
he's still a very liberal lib
fuck that give him a seat in the cabinet but not vp
    anyway Vance is the guy
could be worse could be a lot better since he's a bit swampy but i guess he had to go w an established repube

Kamala agrees to debate Vance in a VP face-off.

Somebody better tell that bed-hopping whore that Vance is a Yale grad, and blowing Willie Brown is easier than being smarter than Handsome Dan from Connecticutt.

Yale Law is #1. Morehead is #136. And Kamala hasn't faced a guy like Vance ever. And Vance's wife is Indian and SD/Frisco raised. So all her racial patter won't mean shit against his redneck ass. He grew up in poverty. Kamala was raised by college profs who never let her see the poverty of Alemeda County. She was shepherded by rich libs there and then lived in Momtreal among the wealthiest. She's coddled from day one. After that, she laid on her back to get up the ladder.

She's gonna do worse than Biden. Vance will fuck her right up. I'll watch that mismatch.
