Hope heterochromatic Max enjoys pitching with a sackless team behind him. If Buehler loses with a one run effort, when he clearly wasn't at his best, and his team has scored a total of ZERO runs for him in his two losses, WTF does Max have to do to win a game here? No guts, no glory for this milquetoast offense...what a shameful effort.
Hitters looked like they'd never seen a slider before. Buehler showed as much holding one of best lineups in the game to one run over six without his best stuff as he has shutting out lesser teams over seven.
Most of the pitches were close, strike three being the stunning exception. Game was over right there.
I forgot...the vastly overrated Victor Gonzalez, who throws variations of the same exact pitch endlessly, without fail, is an ER or lead blown (not that we ever had the lead, lol) just waiting to happen. I'd love to see this guy shipped somewhere else. How long before a team zeroes in on Johnny One Note ? If he's the blowout mop up guy, then fine...but in high leverage situations, no way. Keep 'em where they are ? No way. He needs a lotta luck when he's out there, and mostly that ain't the Dodgers...not in '21, anyway.
tonight’s prediction… max throws 8 scoreless innings unfortunately, the astros throw 9 kenley gives up 5 in the 9th and the giants win .

After he hit the second HR, Mookie's head down but knowing reaction might have been the coolest start to a HR trot I ever saw...
Yeah, we do...but he wasn't perfect last night, by any stretch of the imagination. Some balls to crush several times, and whiff or weakness the result.
Starting to the resemble the Mookie we saw last season and that Mookie is an absolute treat to watch.....special talent
