The combo of Jansen pitching and the Astros playing has brought out a level of disgust that I didn't think existed
Just wait...Dave will somehow find a way to twist that performance by Kenley and rave about how great and clutch he was
If it was a one or two run lead going to the ninth, we'd have lost right now or be in extra innings where we always lose. Scherzer's debut would've been wasted, just like those gems by Urias and Buehler were wasted. And we'd be another game back. Fuck Jansen, and pull your head out of your ASS, Roberts. Make Treinen the closer, damnit!
@SportsNetLA “It’s probably one of the best atmospheres I’ve played in. That was pretty amazing to be a part of.” @mookiebetts on the environment at Dodger Stadium.
"Probably" "one of"... Don't think Mookie or Vassgay realize that's hardly high praise or a bold statement.
Lmao @brookme3 I asked Dave Roberts what he thought about Kenley tonight: "It's easy to look at the base hit and the HR but I think that the 22 pitch exercise what he did was pretty good. Like I've said all along, we need him to be good to be these best version of our ballclub."
He was fortunate to have a utility infielder, the backup catcher and a rookie PH to get him out of it. He had nothing.....no velocity, no movement and no command. Anyone one of a handful of hanging breaking balls should have been crushed. Apparently his pre-All Star Game turnaround was a mirage. Even if Treinen is made the closer, there are still too many unreliable arms in the pens. Kelly, Bickford and Treinen are only ones who don't send me running for the liquor cabinet. Puzzling that Friedman didn't add an arm or two to that group. Counting on Knebel is like counting on Nelson, who is back on the IL again.
Far be it from me to praise an Asstro, but Michael Brantley has to have the calmest demeanor I've ever seen at the plate. Wish C Bellinger would take note.
Of course he's calm...he is Nosferatu. The undead. Think about it...did you ever see him play in a day game ?
