Somewhere, I'm feeling a bit sorry for the Braves (not deeply, mind you)...but, they were way better than the Cards all year; won the real WC outright by far....and because of the other new, diluted WC shit, a team that gets hot late who were just above mediocre at best (Christ, we almost caught them- how good were they really then?), and the whole year of Brave fighting hard and earning it just goes down the drain? In ONE game? BB is officially the NBA now; just play a little above .500, and you're in. It's becoming just entertainment and individual achievements. Sad. WTF is it all about, Alfie?

I just watched the Cardinals highlights and realized something. I don't hate the Cardinals. I just really, really wanna be the Cardinals. I don't have much of a problem with them winning, I'm just so jealous of what they keep doing. Fuck NYY and SF, the Cards are just extraordinary.
This may sound sad but I would laugh my ass off if Stephen Strausburg gets injured and needs Tommy John surgery next year.
As long as the giants lose I'm fine with who ever else wins it. Well not fine because I really don't like any of the teams left but I really don't have a choice unfortunately.
This is the post season of bad pitching and sloppy defense it seems. These comebacks aren't even inspiring. They just make you shake your head at these teams' inability to put the opponent away.
