I think this will be a great game. They were the two most predicted teams to be in the Super Bowl before the season started, and they were easily the best two teams this year. I'm a surrogate Broncos fan because Peyton Manning won me $500 in fantasy football this year. My wife's family is from Portland, OR and they love their Seahawks. I honestly don't care who wins but I think it's going to be a great game. It looks like the weather isn't going to be a big issue... But let's face it, NFL franchise or not, the Superbowl should be in Southern California every year. The weather is tits out here right now.
It is a fine day for football in NJ right now, about 10 AM. I have no idea what it will be at kickoff, but unless there is some meteorological anomaly, it should be fine. No problem at all. The weather here in the NE is not "tits' level...but maybe"ass", at least. Or " flat, tight abdomen" level. Pretty nice, actually.
Hard to believe a team playing like the Broncos are playing now could make it to the big dance. They are horrible.
The Puppy Bowl was more interesting. Somehow , I was glad that Manning sucked so bad. If it can happen to the likes of Kershaw in a must win game, then it can happen to him. I did like the commercial with the Dobehuahua though. And Dylan hawking for Chrysler was priceless, man. Lennon was right...."I don't believe in Zimmerman".
Man, I don't know what I'd do if the Dodgers won it all. Probably throw a huge party and make everyone in attendance wear blue.
As a charger fan who hates the broncos, I thoroughly enjoyed that. Mostly because fuck the broncos, and mostly because I know a guy who is an obnoxious bronco fan who I'm glad can't gloat.
curious about pete carroll... are there any other head coaches who have won both the bcs and super bowl titles pretty amazing accomplishment ... and this coming from a bruin
bronco fans are like 49er fans the only difference is bronco fans stuff bull balls in their mouths, not some dudes
I disagree that Manning sucked, it wasn't his fault the center snapped as he was approaching the line to call signals. It wasn't his fault two passes got tipped leading to scores. He did throw for 280 yards, and I give the Seahawks defense total credit for keeping pressure on him and his receivers. I was flabbergasted Dylan appeared in that commercial, I didn't think he did things like that. And at the end when he said something to the effect of 'the American spirit' or something, I nearly spit out my beer. Duh, Chrysler is owned by Fiat now. For me the best commercial was the Kia Matrix one.
Jimmy Johnson, who hosts the FOX pre-game. They mentioned it during an interview with Carroll before the game. But do Pete's NCAA titles still count or did they just say that to have an interesting angle?
