Yeah but it's probably just an allegory about how capitalism turns people into mindless sleepwalking consumers of what tickles other peoples brains... And you aint into that socialism shit.. right?
Thats a fantastic thing. I think I'm gonna steal it. If Bob Dylan had a son his son would grow up in a lifestyle different than that of Pops. So would Dylan's spitting image really be his biological doppleganger trying to make big hits only to fail every time but once when he became a wonder. Or would it be a fan born from fans who together blew the cool breeze that fanned the flames of a thousand ships and floated all your boats? His sons mirror opposite. Is his father's son. Then again Bob wasn't gonna let his kid grow up to be no wanna be punk. You aren't supposed to "want" that life. You are born into it. A wallflower might only have one headlight but it still manages to see everything anyways. That song is never gonna die in our lifetimes. So Jake said... There's more than one way to skin a cat Pops!
^ I saw that too, almost impossible to believe that happened my new guilty pleasure is "peep show" apparently been on a while but its new to me and has some hilarious moments
Chicago the Terry Kath experience Maybe the greatest debut album in rock history This is his daughter as a filmmaker , who never knew him, tracking down his guitars and his legacy The interviews w the musicians who knew him and how they communicate what her father meant to him is amazing Watch it alone so no one sees you tear up
2016 4 show series called "retribution" set in Edinburgh Scotland, one of my favorite places i ever visited, the cinematography is excellent and gorgeous the story is strong and short w solid actors recommend this one update the director is William McGregor apparently the best director i've never heard of lots of awards and history for a 32 year old kid look forward to checking it out
Shot its a story of famed rock photographer Bob Rock so many of the truly iconic photos from Lou Reeds transformer to Queen to Bowie he lived like one of them
Found a little gem on Prime the other day... "Has Anyone Seen One- eyed Jimmy"? Or something like that. Steve Buscemi, Paulie Walnuts, every Toturro on earth, Sam Worthington, Samuel LJackson, a host of other urban gansta types and funny, man. Sorta a poor man's Soprano revisited. Paulie is flat out hilarious. Check it out.
Amy from 2015 its a look at those of us that loved her and not the drugged out footage we've all seen Place beyond the pines was an excellent story
thats what i said cause there's just no way he lands there from any place but that ledge and that' nearly impossible although maybe he was trying to get away from someone trying to cause him harm and fell still there should have been a forced window since the only open a fraction if at all my hands were seriously sweating watching his wife on that roof w no handrails or wall! he almost had to go in from above from helicopter but then how are his sandals right there and his cell and glasses in perfect condition? really crazy
We watched El Embarcadero (The Pier) a couple weeks ago. Sordid, sexy and with a great plot. 2 seasons of 8 episodes so a quick watch. Same actor as Money Heist. From Spain with subtitles.
Watched Social Dilemma on you guys' recommendation last night. Brought to mind the effect that the addiction to social media is having on our young people. That and the lack of interaction with their peers due to this virus shit is going to to have repercussions for years. Started re-watching The Wire recently. Forgot how great that show was. So many of those characters have popped up on other shows recently.
Gonna say if anyone has Apple TV+, Ted Lasso is hilarious. Just a feel good show that I really loved when I watched it
started watching the expanse on the recommendation of my attorney pretty cool story line for sci fi and only 1 season in to 6 available seasons like how main characters get wasted
