What has UCLA really accomplished in the last 3-5 years? They beat USC 3 in a row, congrats. Being an USC fan it hurts, but outside if that, zilch. Nothing on the field that is going to bring recruits to Westwood. They're a story in LA yes, the Pac12 sometimes, and rarely in the national picture. Recruits want attention. No ones fault, just saying that you have the number 1 QB in this class coming in means nothing. Rosen is very good, there is no doubt about that, but that don't mean shit, yet. The QB depth at USC is unreal.
Kessler, Town, Browne, that other QB recruit they're getting. Fuck man, Wonder how they'll all be satisfied.

Yeah I remember hearing the same sentiments after kiffin's first season. Great recruiter as well, young, usc ties, distractions from the carrol and ncaa drama etc etc.
