What changes should be made to the Dodgers' Front Office?

  1. It is a rough patch, overall Ned and company have done a decent job and they should stay.

Time to put up or shut up.

I want to see where everyone stands on the current Front Office. Please vote and add a comment as to why you voted that way. I think everyone knows where I stand on Colletti.

Good-bye Ned. Our next GM must think 10 years younger and have a plan - not a team of annual scrub fillers.

I think every single person would want him fired, but that's not how the world works, he's not going to be fired mid-season. He'll get at least one more offseason I'd bet.

I disagree. There have been a few instances where the GM is fired during the season to make a statement. I am a huge Dan Evans fan. I have to wonder if Kasten saw what he was able to do in 2 years when dealing with the shit his previous GMs left him.

He does seem to be getting along with Kasten (we see them sitting together in the booth, cell phones a-blazing) - and that's probably the main factor.

If Ned is wooing Kasten by slick massage and deft schmoozing, and Kasten fails to see clearly his past abominations when he had as much money to spend as any GM out threre (more than many), and what he did with that money, then Kasten is a fucking false hope.
And we are right back in the fire.

I want Ned fired immediately. But that isn't gonna happen. I think if his next move is a dud, he should be gone.

Kasten has a proven track record and, say what you want about Ned but he is a GREAT negotiator. If they double team agents we have a good chance to get what we want.

Fire him ASAP. He's the most clueless GM in the game. He's an embarrassment to the Dodger organization, players and fans. He's also the reason why I can't enjoy life and why I never smile.

    How would you know?

How does a great negotiator get suckered into believing that 2M = Carlos Santana?

Look how long Ned has been the GM. And look how many holes the Dodgers have. Those are directly related. Plus all those ex-Giants he signs. Maybe the real move for the Dodgers at the deadline would be firing Ned. They won't be as great as they can be with him calling the shots.

A proven track record perhaps, I don't doubt it. But what's past is past, and this Lee potential signing is an indication that Kasten is either not really involved at all, or Ned has schmoozed him into having free reign...neither which warms the cockles of my heart anyway.
And this 'GREAT NEGOTIATOR' thing? Are you serious or being sarcastic?
And I've always asked one as yet unanswered question about Ned; I'll ask you since you since you might back him and what he's done for this team, is: why was he available even at all when we got him with all this talents?

Ned is a horrible negotiator. Explains why Harriston is making more money than he's ever made in his entire career at the age of 36. It also explains why we're paying above market value for guys nobody else wants.

No. The main factor is that we're 8 games above .500 without Kemp for more than half the season. He put a playoff caliber team on the field. He's a bad GM, no one will deny that, but he's not getting fired. It's like me starting a thread "Would you like Joey Votto?" I'm sure everyone would like Joey Votto, but it's a moot point, Ned will not be fired midseason. It's not happening. And he 99% likely won't be fired in the offseason either.

His crappy ass boss that made him do that?

Not defending Ned, that's just what happened. Lol. It's McCunt's fault.
