Doubling down on the 'garbage' reference are you? Kershaw would be coveted by every other team should he decide to look. Belli is another story.. he's a youngun' with a huge hole in his swing.. but when he connects we're supposed to forget his hitting .240
If Belli were the one of the few with those negative then I'd agree 100% on your lat sentence. There are tons of those type of guys on every team he's just our example. CT3 has more K's I believe.
rather a hardass this morning ehh?? Forget your coffee? Lose your glasses again? Can't find your teeth? LOL
Kenley leads the league in saves so he's not horrible and some guys are notoriously slow starters no matter how they prepare. Having said that his marriage is new and his life will never be the same but now the excuses are done.
saves are a lot like rbis, opportunity driven his era is a full run higher than last year, and fip nearly +2 runs k's down 35% k/bb down 75% whip up 24% already has given up as many hr as last year and 4 more runs, in 21 fewer innings i could go on... i agree with you though, not horrible just nowhere near as good as last season and probably 25 pounds heavier
He's somewhat the victim of the high bar he's set himself. Last year was historically good. Would have been tough to match that again. And his shortcomings aside this year, the team has no one close to being able to replace him.
agree with all of this just wasn't happy about him showing up out of bb shape and barely hitting 90mph (in april)
Never saw a report about his conditioning (or lack thereof). What I did read is that he was among the first to show up for workouts at the Stadium in the offseason. Did a little research and came up with this. Read the LAT daily and never saw it. Pretty funny (or homo) about Kenley and Freidman exchanging shots to nutsack. http://www.latimes.com/sports/dodgers/la-sp-dodgers-kenley-jansen-20180302-story.html
