Well I said that before last nights ruinous episode but Bills has such a legendary rep for mentally imploding and routinely choking that I have yet to see any Dodger worse than him in clutch time. Maybe he comes back to form... maybe not... but his form was always good enough until it counted and then his weak ass melon got involved... and he choked again Just my opinion... but Haren isn't looking so bright either at the moment either we both agree...
The only "clutch time" I can think of was 2008 against the Phillies. Our whole staff was roughed up in the postseason by those guys. Padilla, Kershaw, Kuroda, and Billingsley. Then again, it's the Dodgers. Who really shows up in clutch time for this team that doesn't have the last name ending with a Z?
Billingsley set to resume Minor League rehab By Ken Gurnick | MLB.com -- 3 hours ago DENVER -- Dodgers pitcher Chad Billingsley resumes his Minor League rehab assignment on Sunday for Class A Rancho Cucamonga. Billingsley, recovering from last year's Tommy John surgery, had advanced to make one rehab start in early April, but felt a pop in the elbow during that game and was shut down with flexor tendinitis. He received a platelet-rich plasma injection and slowly resumed his rehabilitation. Although no timetable has been given for his return, the All-Star break is a likely target. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said injured players Carl Crawford, A.J. Ellis and Juan Uribe continue to make progress, but none is ready for a rehab assignment. Ken Gurnick is a reporter for MLB.com. Chad Billingsley makes first rehab appearance since April By Craig Minami | True Blue LA -- 7 hours ago Barring any setbacks, Billingsley's next start with be for the Quakes on Friday in Lancaster. Chad Billingsley made his return to a competitive game as he returned to LoanMart Field at Rancho Cucamonga for a 30 pitch rehab start. The numbers: 1⅔ innings, one run, two hits, a walk, a HBP and two strikeouts were not Billingsley main concern. "It felt good to back out there, working on things, trying to get back," Billingsley said. Billingsley noted that he didn't use everything, only a fastball, change, and curveball, and was told he topped out around 93 mph. Billingsley recalled that back in April, he could not finish the second inning as he felt something pop. "But today, I was able to complete the 30 pitches, hopefully recover well tomorrow, a little tired and be out there again on Friday," said Billingsley. Billingsley said his next start if everything is right will be in Lancaster on Friday night. Billingsley will go back to Camelback Ranch in Arizona to train as the Dodgers are in Cincinnati until Friday. Billingsley hit a batter with curveball in the second inning, Billingsley said "he was just trying to slow things down with that pitch." Billingsley said he did not throw a baseball after his PRP injection for a week or two but since then has been throwing a lot and had those two simulation games before Sunday's appearance. __
My perdickshon. Bills comes back to mediocre results, the Dodgers decline his expensive option. Bills goes free agent and the Pumpkins snap him up for $1.5 mill. Bills runs amuck in the NL, wins Cy Young AND MVP, and gets his ring.
Oh... FFFFFUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKK YYYYOOOOOUUUUU!!!! are you done raining your little black cloud tears anointing him already now? I mean I've been in wild agreement with sooo many that Bills has a million $ arm and a 25 cent melon so I personally don't expect much of anything good coming from him getting his quarter million dollar arm fixed if he ain't been letting Sandy set him aside and do some 'xplainin'... Of course I couldn't even expect Sandy to get into his weak ass melon and have it stick. but to suck Bills dick and pronounce him Cy Young winner and queen MVP for them pricks?? Kiss my ass while you're at it. Get a hold of yourself son... and don't give me none of the whiny mumbo jumbo shit about casting aside evil spirits by saying out loud the worst possible outcome... that's just wallowing in worry
Codge. Your doctor needs to put an end to your Viagra prescription. That little blue pill you enscribe #58 on every single one you freak!
should be noted in that game against the reds, bills also smoked an oppo-field double to right http://m.mlb.com/video/v15566781/la...n-rbi-double-to-right/?query=chad+billingsley __
Was in the middle of writing how I was looking forward to Bills coming back. Nevermind for now as he had another setback today.
