fb page i joined called music fascination was an offshoot of the Bowie fascination page, both run by the same people and really fun
they were just doing a first, last, best, worst type poll i'll pull it over here when i get back later
but those are great informative pages w the Bowie one having numerous luminaries like Visconti and Cherry frequently commenting

    Thinking about the late 7
So many great times in the late 70's and early 80's. Saw the Wall at the Forum, loved Supertramp, Led Zepplin in high school. Had tickets to see Led on the In thru the Outdoor door tour... so high at the Amtistity Int'l concert... U2 at the old sports arena for the Joshua Tree tour... Eddie Murphy at the Pacific Amphitheater... Wow, a lot of drugs... Hahaha... What i really missed was the Talking Heads and the Eagles...

Zep at Kezar Stadium 1973. Not long after Houses of Holy. A good time was had by all.

Seated to the right of the stage. I'm the white guy.

Best show I've ever was Stones in Anaheim in '02 a couple of weeks after the Angels beat the Giants in the Series. The set list was like I personally handed it to Mick and Keef.

Ok, I stole this from the Music Fascination page on fb, which again is absolutely brilliant for people like us!
no rules, multiple answers, repost when you change your mind and have fun w it
the Bowie fascination alone is reason to be on fb for me because the information a is insane
and to have people post something and see Visconti comment on it being fake is awesome
its origins are from people directly related to his career so its a pretty amazing amalgamation of core Bowie
if you join over there please friend me i'm Michael Fury Curry

    1. First Concert – Frampton comes alive!
    2. Last Concert – Saysheshe in Highland park and before that the Cure Hollywood Bowl
    3. Worst Concert – REM at the SB Bowl w stipe being political
    4. Loudest concert – Metallica and Ozzy in LB
    5. Best Concert - tie between the Wall, Bowie Reality 04 in SB and the Cure 89 AZ and 22 in ESP
    6. Seen The Most - Stones/Cure
    7. Most Surprising – Justin Beiber was a really good show lol, adding Tame Impala
    8. Glad I Got To See – BebopDeluxe, Trower, Alice in chains (no Staley) My Morning Jacket and Quiet riot w Rhodes on Sunset multiple times
    9. Wish I Could Have seen - Zep, Rush and early Bowie
    10. Seeing next – probably small club, just missed Gum. thinking maybe Leonid and friends...

that was a phase of his i totally rejected but watching that and the glass spider stuff its pretty intricate and incredible
and of course he had to become that guy as well right?
i just couldn't stand all these people who knew nothing of him having his name in their mouthes as he was a deity
anyway the Isolar tour of 78 was the one everyone talks about and very limited footage exists of but i guess you had to be into the Diamond dog/Thin white duke stage of his career
was actually not that hard of a ticket but not sure you missed Bowie...his shows in the 90s were great and small venue

yeah i saw them open for the RHCP on the by the way tour and they WERE fucking loud but L'via L' viaquez live!
interesting w both chose REM as the worst
i had just seen them in 03 in Brixton and it was a great show so i took family to see them in 04
what i didn't realize was it was a get out the vote leg of the tour and he wrote a bunch of pro kerry songs to sing
they sucked and then he tore open an over shirt to reveal a kerry shirt underneath and leered at everyone
it was stupid and he's a fucking tool no matter how many good songs they had
