I'm down on getting other posters in here.... The hell with PSD bc they are all a bunch of whining Puta's!!!! I have looked around Google and when I put in Baseball Forums they give me a long list... I'm in a couple of them seeing if there is any hope out there that way... The other way I have found is going into the news paper addition on the Internet... Example the Cardinals have the St.Louis Post-Dispatch, they have forums in there so I'm going to check that out for the Cardinals forum in DSP but we need to look into the Braves,Phillies,Mariners and Rockies not just our own...
Lol..... I feel you on that one, so am I.... On the other hand I have another E-Mail since I got this I-pad so I could go under cover....
I'm trying to create more activity by posting and updating new threads, but patience is a virtue. In my experience, recruiting is highly ineffective. Sure, you might get a few new members, but that's where it ends. There's a few techniques that I think are better for increasing the userbase: Send an e-mail to all registered members encouraging them to come back to the site Open the checkbook and advertise on high-traffic websites (this would get hundreds of members) Pay to have the website appear on google when people do searches for sports forums These are all very effective possibilities, but I believe they all cost money except the first one.
Don't let the PC Correct disease scar you... ... thick skins are a good thing... of course I too would probably cut 'some' slack if I knew you were gay...maybe...
Nobody over there really knocks it out of the park haha. But if you want some quantity and just another cool misfit LASportsfan1996 or something like that has a zillion posts. Not the sharpest but not retarded and he'll probably bring some life over. We're just friends chatting about our own team here. It's not Clubhouse Confidential. GHGHCP might be curious where we all went. Those are a couple I can think of off the top pf my head.
I would, however, suggest waiting till the season starts when there is more activity to impress and give them incentive to stick around. IF they are invited to a dead forum it won't spark their interest.
I don't know how many of you follow DodgersBeat on Twitter/Facebook, but it's the guy who organized all the Frank Mccourt protests, went on TV and Radio promoting the boycott, etc. He's now making it pretty well for himself. Sells T-Shirts, everything Dodgers from insiders, writers, etc is re-tweeted by him, and keeps fans updated. He also has media credentials so he was at the Ryu and Greinke press conferences. He'll be at the renovation media day tomorrow. He's got about 10K followers on Facebook and is building an audience on twitter. Maybe Ruven can make DSP this guy's go to Forum for his followers.
DodgersBeat is gaining an insider/news type following, Chris, VRP and Doyer have a blog, and we have a pretty well established forum. Just saying it can be merged into a great Dodger site w potential. Just spit balling.
