According to Heyman, Ryu will miss his next start because of an elbow issue

Welp, let's hope Kershaw is ready. Don't think it's crazy to say we probably shouldn't ever think Ryu will be a consistent part of the rotation.

I suspect the radar gun is juicing. But it was 105 in the dirt a foot off the plate.

Yeah, I think Moore or Odorizzi will be a Dodger.

Well, if CK comes back soon the rotation is: Kershaw, McCarthy, Kazmir, Maeda, Norris

Wood comes back soon and kicks one out

But yeah, more then likely one or two of those six pitchers gets hurt so I guess they should look into one. Just sucks that the available starters are so risky and/or not doing great this year

Hyun-Jin Ryu has been scratched from his outing tomorrow due to elbow discomfort. MRI showed no notable changes from previous exams.

still sounds like he'll be out a good while

You look at the starting rotations for the '14 Giants and '15 Royals and our rotation would seem to be more than capable as is.
I mean from a greed standpoint, hell yeah I want a high upside guy like Archer for a reasonable price or even a guy a step down like Odorizzi, but what I really think they need to do is something to help the lineup/offense without sacrificing their defense up the middle.
They're not ruling out Urias returning as a starter either, he's just preparing as a reliever right now.

I agree. I mean it'd be nice to have a better rotation, no doubt, but if it's not there don't force it and instead focus on other areas to strengthen.

162 games against the Padres and his hard on will make him the next .400 hitter....

Fein is my neighbor so I don't want him to be kicked off the team. DL is good. He can still hang out in the dugout.

I once said on this board that we will not see Ryu be back in any capacity. I might have been wrong by 1 game.

I once said on this board "Fien sucks". I was off by how ever many games he screwed us out of.
    DL = Don't Like
Apologies to you TB, but you can bake a little cake as a good neighbor...really, the guy was a rally waiting to happen.

Yeah, it's a shame. I just hope the FO was not counting on Ryu heavily when they passed on some other FA SPs.

Since there have been so many rumors regarding Hill/Odorizzi/Moore etc so it shows to me that Ryu was a best case scenario.

I'm tickled pink that Puig got it done against has-been Pat Corbin.
That he busted up bums Cashner and Gallardo.
That he whipped smurf man Davies for Milwaukee.
That he handled Pittsburgh aces Taillon and Locke.
On a serious note, I'm hoping Puig conveniently gets sick on Thursday and misses Strasburg.
I've seen nothing thus far that tells me Puig is going to be a competent AB against post season caliber starters.
