    Said this a while back too..maybe the chances for that would depend upon how they feel about Farmer
    Because of course something could happen to Barnes out there and then we'd be down to Farmer as Yasmani's backup

    Add that on top of LAD whipping these teams' asses all year either head to head or in the standings @ a historical rate + just the general need to win and make the post season, and there's just a ton of incentive to curb stomp LAD while they're in Spring Training-mode


    Or trying to see if any of these vets would go " Chris Taylor " and grab a role by the horns

    Farmer has actually performed at all 3 levels this year. Even in the SSS of MLB, he is 4-12 and one of those outs was a pinch hit flyout to the wall into the wind. I say fuck it and roll the dice.

    Exactly. I'm not clear on why he didn't start a game when he was up here earlier but he's definitely in the teams plans. The other catchers in the system are still very very young.
