Judas effing priest ... I took last night & tonight off and thought, "wtf? Kershaw is probably dealing. Let's hope we have an early lead..." Imagine my surprise just now. What in God's Name is going on here? I'll say this ... if this team intends to roll over, I'd rather they flop so as to miss the playoffs. They'd still be a laughingstock, but at least they wouldn't prolong our agony. I wasn't assuming they'd automatically win it all. Actually, I was already dubious about that aspect. But I figured, well, they are a lock for league's best record, right? This is a nut kick, man. I mean, it never feels good to see the team you love lose, but the setup, tease, and rug pull I'm witnessing here is beyond embarrassing, beyond disappointing. It's disgraceful. It borders on sacrilege. It's the stuff of forcible contraction of a franchise. I know that's ridiculous, of course, but in my heart of hearts, I'd frag this whole organization like a fresh lieutenant in Vietnam. Lose tonight, and I'll say it, where I didn't until tonight. This team is done. Sorry if I took so long, but this is unfathomable.
