The Cardinals are concerned that Molina could miss a significant stretch of time to heal up, according to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.The Cardinals are gauging their options and how they can proceed once they know how long Molina will be sidelined for, Goold writes. The Cardinals have spent the past few weeks exploring deals for starting pitchers, relievers, and shortstops, but they have yet to explore deals for catchers. The catching market could include the Phillies' Carlos Ruiz and the Cubs' Dioner Navarro and Goold points that Miguel Olivo is a free agent after walking away from the Marlins. __
Just threw it out there but only for the rest of the season. We still have Beckett/Bills and if Nolasco ends well he's still here too.
Hopefully Beckett stays injured for the rest of his Dodgers career. Bills will probably be out until June or so, I wouldn't count on him much next year. Kersh/Greinke/Ryu/Garza/Nolasco, that doesn't look too bad.
Watching MLB network and laughing at all the Dioneer Navarro praise since Yadie went on the DL. Oh by the way we won't have to worry about our running game because YADIE in on the DL for the next 15 games!!! 4 game series in St Louis 8/5 - 8/8.
I mean, not even Bud Norris has been traded yet lol, and that is the most interesting thing left. Hoping the Rangers find themselves a hitter, that'd be the most exciting thing here but nah. So fucking confused as to why more teams aren't selling hard. Mets, Blue Jays, Angels, Padres, and some teams with nice relievers should be selling.
I mean really, 42 minutes to go and all these sellers are content with keeping these guys for nothing and not getting any better for the future when you aren't gonna win shit this year?
Fear is ruling this trade deadline especially in Philadelphia with Amaro because he's on the cusp of being fired I believe. Their still thinking they have a chance which reminds me of Jim Carrey in Dumb and dumber when he's talking to Lauren Holly.
Astros do a good job this year. Trade away 3 meh players in Veras, Norris, and Maxwell and get good enough returns for them in a market where no one is selling.
This Honestly we've made the best deal so far. Nolasco has been the best pitcher traded in terms of stats and we gave up nothing for him meanwhile the Red Sox gave up Iglesias for Peavy.
