As much focus as they put on defense up the middle, I'll be shocked if Howie is manning 2B over Chase

 

Who do you think is the next to go down?

 

Outfield of Reddick/Joc/Puig and move Howie to 2nd because Chase has been struggling for awhile.

 

It never was about that...it was about who improved most, and what deadline trades have done in the past...like they have gotten huge help in the past with deadline moves.
And so, I'd love to know..? if Moore sucks so badly, why did we want him?

I guess that depends on what you mean about "attitude". If that no video work comment is accurately attributed to him, then I would argue his attitude is still the problem.

 

Both can fill in for Turner on occasion, too.

Let's hope this Puig and Joc run of late is not just a flash in the pan. Would love to see that 3 man OF do some damage and play the D they are capable of. A healthy Puig and a HR happy Joc will make the lineup much more dangerous.

 

Im praying we got our bad luck out of the way in the 1st half. Shit was/is so brutal that the gods have to smile on us eventually.

 

Chase is so much better than Howie at 2B, and it's not just that, it's that Howie is bad as well.
Chase is really good and Howie is really bad, it's a wide gap.
And even with Chase's 97 OPS+ compared to Puig's 93, who do you trust to do what needs to be done at the plate?
To put together good ABs?
I know you're a Puig guy, but come on now.
IMO, it basically defeats the purpose of adding another competent bat if you're subtracting one, if lengthening the order and making it overall a more competent order is the goal you keep going with Utley.

I like the moves we've made today. We fill some holes, and Reddick and Hill should be plus performers. I was open to trading Puig but only to protect our top minor league talent in a big move, so glad to see we still have Puig - glad to see the idea of swapping Puig for Bruce was a joke. Sale and Archer were both guys that normally don't get moved at the deadline, clearly their clubs were just testing the thin market but not serious unless they were blown away. Let's keep putting runs on the board, and IF Kershaw can come back @ 90-100% I honestly think we're the team to beat in MLB.

This is my and it describes MOST of the posters here. What you just described is pretty much the attitude of the entire forum. They love a player when he's balling and rag his ass when he goes balls up for a short time. Let him rise once again and they start sucking that ckock harder than ever, proclaiming they've never licked balls so sweet. I know it's a lot of heat of the moment posting and such, but it makes my asshole want to drink a coca-cola. I swear to Kershaw the shit that goes on here makes me look even keeled.
