AD may eventually have to move to some form of eyewear. Can't remember if it happened as much, but I know many of the all-time face up scorers from the post have gotten their share of smacks around the eyes. I can remember when guys would swipe at Olajuwon's eyes back when his offensive game started flourishing and he had to move to goggles for a little bit. Same goes for Moses, Amare Stoudemire, and of course, Worthy and Kareem among others. Also feels like AD falls half the time on his jump shots..probably trying to draw a foul. Then there are the random smacks and the fact that he often just steps on someone's foot and accidentally tweaks something. If it's not one thing, it's another with AD. LBJ lost his cool one time the other night - as did I - same play. AD went flying - likely flopping - across the court about 15 feet and just laid there on the court like he was planking..and then Danny Green goes flyin the other way, to the floor. So LBJ was just basically left to defend 3 guys on his own because his teammates are flying left and right and out of the play. Smh Either somebody else is going to have to step up big in the next game, or - more likely - a couple/few role guys will elevate their play from last game. But I wouldn't rule out LBJ continuing to get buckets at a high clip. Not in this soft era. He's finally embraced his Shaqness in recent years. Embraced the fact that he's bigger/stronger than everyone and his ball handling with his back to the basket is way better. He can live inside whenever he decides to. Whether it's posting up, spinning, etc. Jimmy is strong as fuck, but he looked like a small child VS LBJ in the post. What I really hate was that Jimmy only needed one more technical foul to get tossed from the game. Perhaps they could've done something further to get under his skin and maybe it would've, at the very least, had an adverse effect on his game..but whatever, it's on to Game 6. Now, they either come out and play with some early edge and step on Miami's throat early in the next game, or the pressure of potentially blowing a 3-1 a lead starts to creep in as the game goes on and we truly find out who's got nuts of steel
watched the last game and i'll watch the rest of the series serious question why the aversion to running an actual play anymore? i've seen the nba change offensive trends many times so i can only hope this trend goes the way of the sjw bs because its offensive
was thinking that just the other day remember magic marching into the frontcourt with his hand up calling a play usually getting the ball inside to kareem sometimes to worthy in the post or the coop a loop sadly those days are gone
Danny Green receiving death threats. It's Lol worthy on one hand, but I also hope he's up for this....Lol
Man, that was fun to watch and I needed that moment of happiness. Been working ungodly hours since the baby was born, on top of having $3M in deals go *poof* due to run of piece of shit buyers and one bitch of a client's son. The Dodgers winning it all and 3 or so more closings for the year would be the icing on the cake.
Can't even bring myself to care about the Dodgers this year. Tired of the disappointment, so I'm just out. If they do it - great. If they don't - great. Can't invest anymore time on the treadmill. They make you feel like Wile E. Coyote And seeing Kershaw give up back to back HRs the other day on SC + Kenley up to his old tricks, as well, let me know it was the right decision to tap out
Congrats Laker fans! I'm happy for you. Sadly, this is no longer my NBA. I said a few weeks ago that if the Lakers won it my celebration would amount to about a golf clap, but now I can't even muster that. However, I do take some small measure of happiness from seeing the title count click up one. Hopefully some day I can get back on board, but first Adam Silver has some work to do. For now though, I hope those that have followed this team enjoy the sweet taste of the ultimate victory, and I hope to do the same with the Dodgers in a couple weeks.
