There's already been gloating on here about Cotton with his problems and now this Montas thing ? I see raw FO taint after the profuse licking.
    Surely you jest...

When the FO made that trade it was panned on here but as with any trade time always tells how it works out which was all I was pointing out. The trade itself has been bad for both teams so far so it's worth pointing out. Back in the day when it was made the FO was being widely criticized for their work. I was defending them because it was a need but in retrospect they shit the bed on this one as of 6/15/17. I thought that Montas would be the guy we would regret dealing at the time. It's not gloating it's illustrating that trades should never be judged in haste.

    It is just your view.

Getting Cotton and Montas to be thought of as top prospects is great work by our GM's.
Trading them and then finding out that maybe they arent so great is again great work by our GM's.
You trade away assets that for you are just more gambling chips, you keep the assets you think are sure bets.
Gambling chips can pay off or not, more often... not.
Getting Hill and whats his face was also great work by our GMs.
Whats his face sucked but for a few seconds most people were ready to send Puig to AAA because we had finally found his permanent replacement.
Hill has done some nice things but has been MIA a lot.
I rather he be MIA half the time and not pitch and not be on the roster if the other half of the time he pitches well enough to hold down the #3 spot. Again a great move by the GM's.
Sure, whats his face sucked with us and is now playing well in Houston, so he slumped with us, not GM's fault. GM's had the right idea and going after him was a great move.
Hill was dealing before coming here and when healthy has put up some nice performances. Albeit under an innings governor. Still a great move for a team like ours who needs a lot of bridges before we get to our next core group of young aces or we break the bank on a top FA ace.

You may call that taint licking.
But i would call your view taint watching.
I dont see the taint, im too busy working a tad to the north of the taint.
    Lapping up all that goodness.
Which you may never get to experience again if you dont stop staring at the taint.
After awhile all you see is taint. Taint Taint Taint is all you can see.
You lose sight why you wanted to come to the ballgame in the first place.
And all you end up with is the taste of old penny.

Blah blah blah...it's just your view.
You read more and more like a mental patient.

You're welcome...but I admit, it's not as entertaining as it used to be.
It has pretty much gotten to be you telling someone, whoever, how wrong they are and should feel, behave, and react.
Then of course, the "it's not personal" bit comes, and at least it always usually ends with at least a smile.

It's not supposed to be entertaining. I dont think anyone here posts to entertain anyone but themselves.
Breathing out hot air allows us to fill our gasbags with something new and fresh.
It is not entertainment, it is mental hygiene. It is why you are here.

And its not telling someone they are wrong, how they should feel, behave, react, etc...
Its taking someones point of view and replying with a different point of view.
Novel concept, other people can have points of view different than your own without it ever raising their blood pressure one bit.
All without taking your point of view personally, or getting offended over how you view things.
And by you Blue, I am not and never am talking about You.

Why would I get angry or take personally what some other dude says on the internet?
That shit rarely ever turns my dial in my day to day reality, much less online where 'regular' people front more than wild street youth.
And it ends with a smile because it is not and never will be personal.
If it was personal I would end it differently.
Probably things get personal for you.
Kinda like how you end up calling me a mental patient or taint licker whenever I have an opinion that is different than yours and I express it.
The fact that I like doritos and you like hot cheetos does not make me thing you are a moron for liking hot cheetos.
But if I dont like hot cheetos and someone says that hot cheetos are the best corn based nacho cheese delivering bite sized snack food I wont take that as an affront to the dignity of my doritos opinion.
Because we are talking about corn chips here, and that would be retarded.

Dodgers still unsure of next step for Urias
    by Joshua Thornton | MLB.com — 4 hours ago

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers are still gathering information on left-hander Julio Urias, who was placed on the seven-day disabled list on June 14 by Triple-A Oklahoma City because of shoulder soreness.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said there is no timetable for when Urias could return from the DL. Roberts said Urias was examined by team doctor Neal ElAttrache this week and is not sure if Urias will need a second opinion.

"I don't see or haven't heard of him picking up a baseball," Roberts said. "Like I said before with Julio, we're trying to be extra cautious, but I haven't heard anything definitive at all."

Urias, who was MLBPipeline's No. 4 overall prospect in 2016, was sent down to Triple-A on May 21 after having trouble with his command. The southpaw has an 0-2 record and sports a 5.40 ERA in five starts in the Majors this season and has made six appearances for Oklahoma City.

OKC emulated the big league club with four homers tonight - Calhoun, Trace, Farmer, and Wilson. Verdugo and Calhoun continue to rake, and Farmer has pretty much showed that his lower level successes were not a fluke. A lot of the damage came against Frankie Montas, who is not looking good at all.
