    They have fallen in love with the hero ball mentality. Just get hits, drive in runs, and let the HRs come organically. Smart at bats with the SP throwing a lot of pitches worked for us....don’t see why everyone wants to be a hero now.

    This is where the whole pessimist/optimist thing you keep going on about gets blown out of the water.
    During last nights game you and I were pretty much mirroring each others opinions on the game and the players and the management decisions.

    Its about negative and positive.
    Optomists make shit up so they dont have to deal with realities they cant cope with.
    Positives dont try to find a fake silver lining but study from the mistakes to learn how to do better next time when they know there is still a next time. And as long as there is life there is a next time. Dodgers have a few more lives to live... but they better start living em.

    I like the sentiment but Kenta threw 47 pitches last night so I doubt he gets in the game to do what should be done. I'm not feeling at all optimistic about tonight or the rest of the series because of how the Stros are a completely opposite team at home than on the road. We're doomed. :hide:

    I only care about Dodgers fans. They are mine.

    Racism will always exist, but it's not necessarily a problem. Like, I don't think there is evidence of systemic racism in 2017 and Im tired of hearing about it. But blatant crap like that has no place at work and I'm glad he was punished. This isnt the golf course or a poker game.
    It wasn't even clever which is the most insulting thing, honestly.

    I kid. But I seriously hope McCarthy, Stripling and Fields aren't part of the plan. If they are, fuck Dave and the FO. Hill or Kershaw need to be in tonight's plan (or Darvish could be in the plan). Season is over in 4 days, there are no points for those guys being fresh.

    but i seriously doubt dave uses hill, kersh or yu
    especially after his "i'm thinking three games down the line" remark during yesterday's postgame presser
    glad he's focused on games that will never be played
    hate to say it... but the season may essentially rely on wood [no homo]

    It sounds crazy, but I gotta believe Wood can at the very least go five. In the end, it's on the offense. Turner, who's supposed to be a rockstar in the postseason, has two hits. TWO.

    Bellinger seems lost.

    Taylor has done okay but even then he can't do it all on his own.

    Offense needs to finally show up against their pitchers.
