    Gotta feel for Frank there.
When he heard Keith say, " I agree with Frank " he had to be like " fuck. "

Real life story that parallels that one.

Old friend who tends over imbibe and over bake was trying to hit on a woman on the dance floor.

She tells him, "Gary, it isn't happening. I'm a lesbian." Without batting an eye, Gary says, "that's Ok, I am, too."

If you say Seager can play DH then you are saying that he can swing the bat better than any other hitter on the bench but he cant make good throws yet. You want him in the lineup but not in the field at SS where he has to make hard throws on a constant basis every inning twisting that back.
In LF and 1B you still have to do stuff but its way less frequent or less extensive.
You never know he is he taken field practice at those positions for versatility purposes.
Look at Chris Taylor. He had never played CF or LF or even 2B I think. He was a SS.
    Dodgers have him playing everywhere.
Seager is tall and would be an ideal way to let his body recuperate while keeping his bat in the lineup.

But they keep him for the ability to come in and hit HR in bunches if he gets hot like when he first got here.

I'd rather use Seager exclusively as a PH + DH than play 3 guys out of position.

ARod was also on an episode of Shark Tank as an investor. He's a smart guy.

But if he can play LF or 1B nobody else is going to play out of position since Bellinger came up as an OF and 1B and Dave uses him at CF plenty. Even after his injury. And in LF the only guy you would have to sacrifice is either Ethier or Granderson or at best Kike.

And as a Miami guy, you know he probably wanted in on that Marlins' sale..only to be beat by Jeter again.

Nothing against ARod or anything, but before we start labelling him the Nicola Tesla of baseball, remember he picked the Yankees Saturday night.

    not a good comparison
taylor has played 2b/3b/ss in the minors since being drafted
seager has played ss/3b exclusively and does not possess the speed or athleticism of taylor
and the taylor experiment began early the season
you don't put someone at a position they've never played during the world series
especially when you have guys (culberson) who have experience playing there and have done well in seager's absence
i don't want to see seager at 60%
like i said in my previous post, if he's healthy and can be productive put him out there
if not, play charlie/kiké et al

I agree, but if he can still hit then DH, PH, etc... at the very least.
My point is that even if he cant field SS he should be on the roster.
