    Hard to imagine that Julio was 3-6 on June 12 and is now 13-6. Eleven starts since then - ten W's and one ND.

    my favorite pitcher of the last 5 years and close to my favorite player more and more
    dude is focused and not afraid of shit
    love it when the camera catches him looking to the sky saying "puta madre"
    won't complain about the team moving that slow w an arm ever again
    worth the wait

    Wish they would let him pitch multiple innings once in a while. As a former starter he should be able to handle it.

    lux has looked like a butcher defensively at times
    trea may be more expensive, but is better than lux in every way imo

    Yeah, that may be their plan, as BDK suggested, for sure...but Lux is no Trea Turner. Not in the wildest dreams.
    When you're fortunate to acquire a player like TT, you keep him. Do whatever you have to.
    The Dodgers are not invulnerable.
    They are still, no matter what their record shows, no lock on the WS...as we all know, relentlessly.
    A haunting recurrence.

    Not saying Lux anything close to TT, but I think if he settled in at one position he would be a solid defensive player.

    He's only 24 and getting to play every day for the first time this year. He's nowhere close to where he will be. He's improved a lot at the plate and will continue to evolve as a hitter.

    solid, sure
    but trea is an elite SS that contends for a batting title every year
    dodger’s mistake was trying to make lux a taylor-type utility player (defensively)
    lux is not good in the outfield
    if i had any say it would be re-sign trea and give 2b to lux

    After last night's win, the Dodgers are now 37-17 vs teams that are over .500 which is the best record in baseball. The Astros are 32-18, Mets 37-27, and Yankees 41-32.

    The fraudulent Padres are 28-32 and surprisingly the Braves are 25-27.

    That would be my plan.

    Lux is a great athlete. If he concentrated solely on the OF I think he would be very good in time. He only started the outfield a year and very infrequently at that.
