    unlike last year when Paco tired at the stretch he will be well rested this year. Perez or anyone could be released in late August Sept.

    I would have gladly dumped someone like Perez to keep Paco.

    We'll see Paco again. If Perez continues to struggle and no trades are made I'd be willing to bet we see Paco on the post season roster and not Perez.

    that probably does happen but I don't get why we have to keep Perez. If you want to limit Paco's innings, then use Dominguez/Baez/Yimi. Chris Perez is just not good, and doesn't give you long innings like Jamey/Maholm. Perez has no success for a year and a half now and it's frustrating to see a roster spot go to a guy who is undeserving, in a spot that we could upgrade in
