    Yuri Gurriel wore his dark shades to bat this inning. He kept them on at 1B before he stole 2B .... but then, he took them off .... because with the roof closed ... you know, those round eyes of his weren't compromised by the glare of the bright lights on that roof ...

    It is October, Verlander has been pitching in the bigs since 2005..he is hitting 96-97, no problem.

    I hope we win the WS this year for many reasons.
    One being that you guy can get over your pain and finally be able to move on from the past 6 years of gloriously being let down.

    these other NL lineups are so top heavy. Good starting pitching for both teams, shaky bullpens, and a good enough top 4 in the lineup.

    I feel like the Braves are a lot scarier than the Cards on paper but it feels so natural for me to pull against St. Louis.

    same. Cards are a good matchup for us, righty heavy pitching staff. But our memories are going to make it that we've beat the Braves and the Cards will luck their way into a series win
