    I disagree. Carl Crawford is a really bad contract and the Rays aren't exactly big spenders so that makes his contract even worse. Zach Lee isn't some big time pitching prospect like we all hoped he would be. Chris Reed is a BP arm, that is it.

    So the Rays are getting a burden in Crawford, a potential middle of the order pitcher, and a BP arm.

    Not really. Reed is probably a reliever. Lee has the upside of mid rotation starter. Crawford is an enormous contract, and the money you added wouldn't come close.

    Like doyer said, it would probably have to start with Seager.

    They'll probably find another team like the Royals who are starving for what they think will be a missing piece for playoff contention, and they'll send a stud for David and yeah.

    Price would be a luxury more than a necessity, and I'd MUCH rather they ship out Carl for wtv cash they can get and use that for the infield outside of Hanley/Adrian.

    Any trade for Price would have to involve at least one of Urias and Seager. I'd guess that they would lean towards Seager but I'd also imagine that they'd want both.

    Like many have said, it would take more than that, and if someone else can offer something better, they'll take it.

    Just because they can't sign him, doesn't mean they'll trade him.
