I meant a move now before the trade deadline since Blake is going to be out for over 2 moths.
They seem to be a different team without him at PF and would probably be even better with a guy like Bass or Randle.
With Clarkson being a huge upgrade at SF to go small or as the main backup to both Paul and JJ Red.

Ezeli would be decent but I think GS will be intent on bringing him back. He's Bogut's replacement pretty soon.

I wanted Bismack Biyombo last free agency and of course he's been a really solid player in Toronto.

Chick Hearn's widow, Marge Hearn, dies at 98
by Joe Resnick | Associated Press — 3 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Marge Hearn, the widow of legendary Los Angeles Lakers broadcaster Chick Hearn, has died. She was 98.

The team said in a statement Sunday that she died of natural causes.

''Marge was like everybody's mom - a Laker mom, as far as I'm concerned'' said Lakers coach Byron Scott, who played 11 seasons for the Lakers and helped them win three titles.

''A lot of the Laker wives were able to confide in Marge as somebody they could trust and somebody that they loved. She was a lot like Chick, as far as giving it to you straight.''

Chick Hearn died on Aug. 5, 2002 at age 85, eight days before what would have been the couple's 64th wedding anniversary. The cause of his death was a head injury suffered three days earlier, when he fell trying to move a plant at his Encino home.

Marge Hearn gave the acceptance speech for her husband at the Basketball Hall of Fame when he was inducted posthumously in 2003 - the first broadcaster to be so honored.

Scott recalled the day in April 2010 when he joined Marge Hearn for the dedication of a bronze statue of her husband outside Staples Center.

''It was a tear-jerker,'' Scott said. ''You get to know these people, and all of us in the '80s got a chance to know Marge extremely well, along with Chick. So to be able to be there when it was unveiled and listen to her talk, you could tell where all of the stretch in her apparently came from.''

''We are very sad at the passing of our beloved Marge Hearn,'' Lakers president and co-owner Jeanie Buss said in a statement. ''We consider ourselves blessed and fortunate, however, to have had her be a part of the Lakers family for six decades. She was truly the First Lady of the Lakers, sitting alongside her husband, the Voice of the Lakers, Chick Hearn.''

Marge Hearn is survived by granddaughter Shannon Hearn and great-granddaughter Kayla Hearn-Newman.

Lakers lose 10 straight. If they don't beat minny this is gonna get really ugly. May be another 10 losses before we win again. The boos tonight we're something I haven't heard in a long time, don't see how Byron can be the coach of these young guys next year.

hopefully byron is just a guy they hired so kobe can do what he wants on his way out
    terrible coach imo
poor leadership; criticizing his young players while letting the former star essentially call all the shots
once he said "kobe has earned the right to take poor shots" he pretty much told us what his role was
so he's actually the right guy for this [year's] job -- letting kobe take his final curtain call as one of the greatest players ever
but definitely not the guy for the future

Hornacek fired in PHX tho. Lol
They continue to be garbage as an org, never once bringing home the ship.
People complain about Jim, who has impressive draft picks, trades, and titles on his resume...what's Sarver done?

Sources: Nash not interested in Suns vacancy
Steve Nash is not interested in the Phoenix Suns' coaching vacancy, despite the team having interest in him for it, sources told ESPN on Monday.

the turnovers and sloppy play are too much to watch at this point
I've been watching here and there this year but I'm tired of the one turnover turning into a debacle thing wtf

    agreed
if they were playing fundamental basketball and still losing, that's one thing
but the mental and physical errors night after night are annoying
the sooner the kobe lovefest and byron are gone, the better
kobe's has arguably earned the right to sling bricks nightly
scott has earned nothing and should never be allowed in an nba arena again

    5 out.
If he can play center, which at 6'10" he should be able to, it's about to be wrap in the future, especially in this era.
