    He's well respected as a college coach. Seems like a high risk/high reward type of hire.

    We don't really know what Luke is like as a head coach either. Not sure the Run with GS early this year counts for that much.

    Messina is the same too. Intriguing....high risk high reward.

    JVG is a known quantity...low risk, low reward. That feels like Byron Scott part duex.

    agree for the most part
    only difference is that luke knows the lakers system
    scott only knew the 80's version
    ideally phil comes back to help with scouting and free agents
    and jeanie gets some love [​IMG]

    Luke or Ollie.
    Positives for both, Harrison Barnes and maybe Ezeli as well would probably sign up to play for Luke and Ollie has enough pull outside of Durant, in the city mainly, to perhaps help pull in a Derozan and some others ( Westbrook in 2017)
    Despite the poor record LAL is in a good spot, need this draft pick to be a part of the picture tho.
    Draft lottery is coming soon, May 17, God help us

    Tbh, we shouldn't expect much from the Lakers next year. Especially if they miss out on FA. Basically, it's gonna be like the Wolves this year.
