Nice sweep. Would have been too easy to lay down against the lowly Marlins after dismantling the Braves. Bring on the Padres.

Agree on everything except the Mookie part. He's learning on the job and will do nothing but improve. He works his ass off at his craft.

Yeah, the fact that Rojas, who has one of the league's best SS gloves, will play second now to allow Mookie to stay at short shows how committed they all are to make this work. I don't think it's going away.

i wasn't slighting Mook and his work ethic at all
its telling when he makes a mistake that he's looking right at Rojas and directly asking what he could do different
just think Rojas and Lux up the middle gives the team its best chance but you're right it appears they're committed
OF of Teoscar, Pages and Betts is pretty good as well

I loved (no homo, well maybe a little) having Betts in right. Seems like he was always making plays that an average or even above average outfielder wouldn't make - not just robbing HRs or gunning down base runners, but cutting off balls headed for the gap or getting to foul pops or preventing the runner from even trying to take an extra base with his presence alone. There was a sense of security knowing he was in right coupled with Bellinger in center. On some plays now, I find myself wishing he was out there. But also, he was more susceptible to injury at that position, and we need him to stay healthy. The older he gets, the more significant that will become. Plus I believe with his athleticism and work ethic he will at some point be among the best at SS defensively.

Personally I like Mookie in RF and Rojas at SS.
