True. A lot of smart people that I know don't even bother reading him. So take it with a grain of salt, but he was supposed to be an average defender at best.

I remember that he ripped us for overpaying for him. Keith Law is one of those douchebag sports writers, like Skip Bayless, that has to always be right and never admit when he's wrong.

If you're going to be opinionated as a sports columnist own it when you're wrong.

I know Intentional Talk isn't really a serious baseball show, but God I love it when they "raise their hand" when they're wrong. It's refreshing.

As for A.G, if this kid becomes Dan Uggla that hits in the .290-270 range I'm cool with it.

I think we'd all be pretty cool with a 30 HR power 2B hitting 270+

    Yeah.

What's that got to do with Dan Uggla?

The problem with Guerrero so far is that he has not been able to stay on the field. He has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury so he never really got into a groove. Showing the signs of a player who has not gotten much time to get comfortable as he has not walked much, but isn't striking out a ton for a guy who hasn't played much over the last year+ either so that is good.

My feelings are....We are only paying him like 7 million a year right? I think as long as he catches the ball anything resembling power is a fair deal. Not every player is gonna be Puig obviously. Hopefully he figures out the defense. He looked like he had quick hands in his video. But turning the DP from second is an acquired skill. Hope he can get it.

What are your thoughts on Corey Seager's struggles in High A and the AFL? Just young for the leagues? Tired at the end of the long season? Or cause for concern?

Extremely young for the AFL, young for the Cal League, also saw some swing adjustments he'll need to make for 2014, especially on his front side.

Haven't heard anything positive on Alexander guerrero as in only hearing negative reports? Or nobody is positive what dodgers have in him yet? Sorry for follow up question

All negative. Terrible in the field, body very stiff, etc. I don't want to overreact - we saw how Puig changed in one winter - but it's not exactly great news.

Dodgers announce new Minor League managers
    By Cash Kruth | MLB.com -- 6 hours ago

The Dodgers announced their Minor League coaching staff on Sunday, and each club has a new manager.

Damon Berryhill, Razor Shines and P.J. Forbes will manage Triple-A Albuquerque, Double-A Chattanooga and Class A Rancho Cucamonga, respectively, while Bill Haselman (Class A Great Lakes) and Lee Tinsley (Rookie-advanced Ogden) will join the organization. John Shoemaker will manage the Rookie-level team.

Berryhill moves to Triple-A after five seasons and four playoff appearances with Ogden. Shines moves to Double-A after managing at Great Lakes last season, while Forbes comes to Rancho Cucamonga after leading his Rookie-level squad to a division title in 2013.

Pederson No. 7 on list of top outfield prospects
    • 7. Joc Pederson, Dodgers: The son of brief big leaguer Stu Pederson, Joc is a talented athlete who had an opportunity to walk on as a wide receiver at Southern California. He'll add to the Dodgers' outfield logjam in the near future, as he has solid tools across the board and 20-20 potential. Pederson gets the job done in center and throws well enough to handle right field if necessary.

    • Baseball America's Matt Eddy reports (via Twitter) that the Dodgers have inked outfielder Trayvon Robinson, second baseman Ryan Adams and righty Mark Pope to minor league deals. Robinson is the most notable of the bunch, as the Dodgers originally drafted him and included him in the three-team Erik Bedard trade with the Red Sox and Mariners in 2011. Robinson, 26, has a .602 OPS in parts of two big league seasons but is a .266/.344/.454 hitter in Triple-A. Adams was a second-round pick by the Orioles in 2006 and has a career .770 OPS in the minors. Pope, a former fifth-rounder of the Padres, thrived in 51 2/3 innings in the independent Frontier League last season, prompting his return to affiliated ball.
