Tbh we got a all star catcher, an MVP candidate CF, an MVP pitcher, a serviceable 1st baseman (as much as everyone hated him) and couple relievers out of that class. That's not bad haha they all can't reach their upside

True. I think it was a track record thing since his brother was a stud and he hit at every level.

I remember reading some reports that comp'd him to Loney, you think that is fair or is he showing more upside in the power department now?

Nope. This dude has way more "game power" than Loney has. Don't see a comparison at all, actually

Julio Urias returned to the mound in a rehab assignment as the Arizona Dodgers defeated the Arizona Reds 3 to 2. Urias allowed just one hit over two scoreless frames, striking out three. Gregor Mora took over for next five innings and gave up a pair of runs while 20 year old Misja Harcksen from Netherlands recorded his first professional victory by getting the final six outs, with five of the coming via the K.

    hey chris, is this true?
all i've heard is the kid's good soft hands and good footwork and [as far as i know] only keith law says he isn't capable of playing ss in the bigs
    • The Dodgers plan to give Jimmy Rollins “a long leash.” Rollins hasn’t hit well this year, but he’s been better this month (.286/.333/.464). Top prospect Corey Seager isn’t exceptional defensively, and if they went with him as a full-time starter, they’d likely feel they had to deal or release Rollins out of respect. That would leave them in a tough spot if Seager didn’t play well.
    ^ edit: via rosendouche so...

What's exceptional though? Everyone swears every ss is going to be a 70.

Seager is serviceable and his defense won't hurt us.

Heard the same. They'll stick with Rollins for the season imo. But no, Corey can play short. I don't care what Law says lol

Law based his opinion on his height which is unusual for a shortstop so I don't blame him, history has shown that SS of his size end up as 3rd basemen. Rollins will be here until seasons end regardless of our feelings and I for one and probably the only one lol, that he should stay with the team. Speaking of Corey, he went 1 - 3 with 2 RBI in OKC's last game before their AS break. CC looks like he'll be back after the AS break 1- 3 today and now hitting .389.

Well the thing with Seager at SS is that he isn't exceptionally quick on his feet and doesn't cover a ton of ground, but he can certainly be serviceable there. And when he eventually moves to 3B, he'll be above average.
