I highly highly doubt it happens, but even if it were slightly true, I don't know why we'd be so comfortable with selling low on him. It's entirely possible he's still recovering from an injury and he's still been good this year. It would have to be a very good deal in the Dodgers favor, and even if it landed "an ace", we should all realize it's way easier to get ace pitching then even just good hitting

I'm almost certain that we'd be complaining about the offense without him even more so from 2016-2018

I also hate to give this much thought to a random rumor from a known bad reporter that probably doesn't amount to much. Remember the Zack Greinke trade rumors? Lol

 

I also still can't believe the idea of people wanting to trade Puig in front of Urias or even Seager. I love me my prospects but man, a couple slumps from Puig doesn't make him worse then prospects, that's just over loving prospects

 

I mean, if a team calls and makes a great offer for Joc Pederson, you take it! Urias and Seager are probably also available in the right deal.

I just can't think about why Puig is seen as some as less valuable then Urias or Seager. If Puig was a prospect right now instead of a dude who put up two good/great seasons and now is in a slump, he'd be highly untouchable and people would hate the idea of moving him

 

Hahaha, I always love that line, and it could be used on 90% of the dream scenarios we post on here.

Anyways, once I read the actual tweet from Nightengale who sucks, I realize it's a big fuss about nothing.

Let's just get Cole fucking Hamels and a reliever and fuck the Giants

 

At the end of the day, it's the name on the front of the uniform that matters most.....we get attached to certain players, but winning is priority #1 and I'm all for a Puig trade if it brings back players that help us end this shitty, 27 year drought.
