Why are we so down on Bryant?
With enough rest, that's a nice RH bat you can rely on.

He strikes out 22% of the time and his defense isn't great...

...does he have to be a 7-win player again to be worth getting?

With Betts, Bryant, Turner, Muncy, etc...

...you can hide Seager and Bellinger 8-9 in the post.

lol i can see it now...

    Ken Rosenthal✓@Ken_Rosenthal
The trade sending Kris Bryant to the #Dodgers has hit a snag, as medical exam reveals A.J. Pollock has a vagina. #Cubs are now asking for Cody Bellinger as compensation.

FWIW, Betts doesn't exactly have a history of tearing it up in the postseason.

Those worried about the Dodgers trade w Boston... don't! The only issue
is the Meds on the Twins Graterol to Boston. This happens all the time.

clark's statement, supposedly after moreno called him and complained...

    Alden Gonzalez✓@Alden_Gonzalez
MLBPA executive director Tony Clark issued the following statement, urging for the completion of the Mookie Betts trade, which basically involves four teams.

“The proposed trades between the Dodgers, Red Sox, Twins and Angels need to be resolved without further delay. The events of this last week have unfairly put several Player’s lives in a state of limbo. The unethical leaking of medical information as well as the perversion of the salary arbitration process serve as continued reminders that too often Players are treated as commodities by those running the game.”

    @JonHeyman
Agent Scott Boras: Brusdar Graterol threw “without limitation” and 100 mph in majors for weeks to end 2019 and he has no great medical concern. “They’re relying on a cursory medical record review yet noted orthopedic doctors who saw him say there’s no issue going forward” #Mookie

MLB Network is a joke. All of the panelists are praising AJ Hinch for supposedly owning up. He never owned up to anything. Just saying "I take responsibility" doesn't work. He never actually confronted the severity or the impact of the cheating. It never occurred to verducci to press hinch on game 5 of the 2017 World series?

How about something like..."the Dodgers were 99 - 0 in games in which Kershaw was given a 4-run lead. He gave up only 1 run in 12 innings at Dodger Stadium during that World series with 16 strikeouts. In game 5 of the World series, in Houston, he got lit up in a circumstance where we know for a fact your players used a live camera to decode and relay exactly what picth was coming. What do you say to Clayton Kershaw? What do you say to the Dodgers who lost that World series?"

(Those stats might be off, but you get the idea)

Does Verducci realize how intricate this scheme was? how effective it was? How it tarnished the legacy of the greatest pitcher ofthe past 15 years?

There is no doubt that the Astros' unprecedented, illegal advantage was the difference. Zero doubt in my mind. This is just a vague softball interview. Horseshit.

Even taking away my bias and emotion, verducci committed the worst sin of all. It was boring television. We learned nothing new. Even if you know you're probably going to get a b******* answer or a deflection, ask an interesting question anyway. I would have like to know how they broke Yu darvish. Chase Utley is adamant that he was not tipping his pitches. Ask about that. What a horrible interview

No disrespect to Clark or the players but they ARE COMMODITIES. They know this and are happy to accept it when they sign their million dollar contracts. In a world where trades part of the business and collectively agreed upon by the players union, said players in said union can collect their checks, negotiate a no move clause or retire.
