    Gojira--King of All monsters!!!
Pretty funny how Tojo studio changed it's name to Godzilla and put homo actor Raymond Burr (who wasn't even in the film origanlly; he had a big TV hit at the time with "Perry Mason), to make it more palatable for Americans....

That last little speech was phenomenal, man. Also, Harrelson's acting is top notch. He has the character who is far more unoriginal and in a way harder to make entertaining and he grips me as well. That chase down scene was fucking creepy oh myyyy

People blame whites because they think whites invented racism.
But it was invented by blacks.
When through migrations north into the ice n snow and milk n cow the black man became white.

Field mouse in maze races till he become white rat due to constant distress on way to running a race

at this point there is no question in my mind most blacks straight up hate white people. i was in CR last month and met up w a friend of mind named Doc and we always have had a great time talking. this time was no different and we laughed a shitload, smoked a blunt, hung out for hours and toward the end of the evening i got a weird vibe. didn't say anything but shared a taxi w a true buddy of mine thats filipino/white and a dude thats a straight up okie. both of them said he had called me a racist. saw him the next night again and he was all smiles and happy but i hit him up and said he didn't need to pretend. he knew exactly what i was talking about and apologized saying he was a little wasted at the end of the evening. thats cool but my response is that it might be something deeper seeded.
he says "oh yeah i hate white people, not you though, you my nigga". uh ok i guess thats cool since you are being honest about the fact that you judge people on skin color. but its fucking racist. he says yeah i know i'm a racist pos. and we laughed and kept partying. maybe thats how its supposed to be idk but it gets it out of the way i guess.
btw the latest on the missing malaysian air flight is the tickets were purchased by an iranian national , cash, one way tickets. sound familiar?

chris rock had a funny take a few years back...

"who's more racist, white people or black people?
    black people, you know why?...
because we hate black people too!"

Agreed. That last line alone made Rust a dynamic character as well. Until then he was still the troubled, obsessive, nihilistic pessimist. Really superb delivery on his part
Tbh both men were equal in their acting. Martys character wasnt as explicit in the transformation or didnt necessarily have the 'harder' role to play but he did phenomenal. He had great lines and you end up seeing the transformation with him as well at the end

Dude that maze in the forest that looked like a catacomb was so fucking creepy. Then you hear Errol's voice echoing the entire place
Even in the house. With all the childrens clothes, stains, filth etc. You know its a scary shot when its in the day and your audience is creeped out haha

Sucks that McConaughey and Harrelson wont be back for S2. The only thing I could have saw happpen was they go after tuttle and bring down the 'power' figures of the cult. But its a good resolve as is. I read theyre going to have new detectives in California and be about the transportation system. Interesting

A Japanese woman goes into a bank, and says to the the teller,""last week, I come in here with yen and get two hunat dollah...today I come in with same amount yen, and get one hunat eighty dollah...why?!
The teller , somewhat annoyed, looks down at her and says "fluctuations".
And she says "oh yeah? Well fluc all you white people too"!

    Racist enough?

Buddy of mine wants to go down there to do some fishing. I haven't been there just wondering if it's a shithole.

i would be very careful about that area these days. its probably been ten years since i went that far into baja and it was for the beach and motorcycle area they have there. its a small town and friendly enough, at least back then. i went to rosarito within the last two or three years and its a ghost town. literally. the businesses that are still around are hanging on for dear life and the locals seemed pretty sketchy to me.
thats a long way from san felipe. in fact its another 2 hours south of ensenada and i just don't have enough recent info to know how it is these days.
i can tell you if it was me personally i think i'd pass. i just remember the last thirty miles or so the highway being littered with broken down vehicles just left off the side of the road. hard to think things have improved.
but if he's been there recently and says its fine its definitely a fun adventure fwiw.

not a good time to go
used to be the troubled areas were those close(r) to the border -- tijuana/rosarita/ensenada
most tourists didn't stray far south of ensenada and, consequently, the banditos knew where to focus
we never had problems to the south
but as devil alluded, that was a long time ago
there's big drug cartels operating down there now
and the heightened levels of corruption make the whole peninsula pretty unstable
some pretty shady people down there bubba
and if you get in trouble down there...

    ^ concur...

I hate to chime in with the likes of these two but...

Cruise ships have cancelled many former stops like Mazatlan and Acapulco due to rampant crime including kidnapping becoming more common, but they don't target the kids as much as gringos who look like they have any net worth.

I saw Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta last year but stayed near port. San Felipe is waaaaay too far south down a little used road for my liking

    two better options...
save some coin, and go out on a boat anywhere from morro bay to san diego
or spend a little more and go to costa rica -- better fishing, much safer than baja
