Oh. They will. Then the 49ers will hire Gruden and win the Super Bowl.

If you watch wrestling, you need to do anything in your power to watch the Stone Cold podcast tonight with Vince McMahon. It's on WWE Network, and it's a must watch. Best thing we've got out of WWE Network to date. definitely worth the $10 monthly fee alone.

haven't cared much for wrestling since the attitude era, but i did see the Stinger make his extra long awaited WWE debut a little while back. Sting is one of the better acts in wrestling history, imo. i can foresee Taker and Sting in a Wrestlemania headliner in 2015. i might actually watch it..on youtube. Lol

And Gruden would find a way to get Carr from us.

" King Gruden ", aye? Lol

meh, he won with a team that Dungy put together and was a laughing stock by the end of his tenure in Tampa.

yeah, it's a possibility, but I don't see Sting/Taker happening this year anymore.

I'm hoping we can get a RG3 type package similar to what the Rams got for the #1 pick if we receive it. I'm sure there is a team that desperately wants Mariota.

Former Oakland Raiders coach and football legend John Madden, who was the team's coach during the 70's, worked with the late Al Davis and said that San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh was one of his favorites.

As the rumors begin with the Raiders being the frontrunners to trade for the unhappy coach, Madden added a little more intrigue to the matter.

"Al always respected him because he played. Al liked players," Madden said, via the Contra Costa Times.

"He felt the guys that played would relate better to players. He also respected Jim because he was a tough guy, a smart guy, a grinder."

"Somewhere in Al's mind, he had it that someday Jim would be the Raiders head coach. I don't know if Jim ever had that in his mind."

5 NFL execs were asked.." Kaepernick or Derek Carr "

    all 5 took Carr.

it's like general wisdom at this point..Carr has everything that it takes. talent is obviously there, but maturity is off the charts.

scouting Mariota and interviewing him is fine..always good to gather info, but there's absolutely no need to consider drafting Mariota. trade that pick..and not to the Niners for Harbaugh for Christ's sake.

drafting Mariota would be the dumbest thing possible, sets us back another few years.
