CJ may or may not be able to do that ^ anymore, but I wouldn't mind seeing him and Coop together. Imagine that. Shoot for the stars...why not?

Lions are 0-3 with yet more tough games coming. 0-5 is certainly on the menu for them with Seattle and Arizona on deck. Maybe at some point they'll start reaching out to teams about moving him? Not sure about the cap situations outside of ours, but I'm thinking ATL, PIT, Carolina, and maybe Minnesota would try to pull CJ in. We need to be in that group if he's on the market. Carolina might be a heavy favorite to get him..they need him the most.

Haha Made for TV. smh I loved that part..I must admit. Dudes actin like McKenzie didn't have THE ULTIMATE rebuilding job after Al died and left literally everything in shambles. Patience! Yeah we all loves James Worthy, true that he did have about the quickest 1st step in the league for a 3.

That core squad squad with Magic and Byron was pretty amazing and for years no one could match our 1, 2, 3 and 5. We'd have some white boy Rambis hustling at the 4 and the whole thing ran.. and ran. I LOVED the fast tempo running game and James was the best at setting up high speed glide paths to the rim.

I'd love nothing more than to have the new kids grow some cajones and turn Russell, Randle and Clarkson into that next household names by bringing some luster back to the where it belongs. Go Lakers.

I know that James came through North Carolina but to hear him speak as an analyst is tricky because he speaks at the Phil Jackson plane but without Phil's vocabulary and delivery. I particularly think that we all benefit when he talks to Lisa Leslie as she does a better than average job of translating Big Game James' in game notes to something that the average viewers can understand.

Both he and Byron spent years with Riley so give Buss props for putting two heads together.. both far beyond his own grasp of the game

It's gonna take heaven and earth to get Durant. I think Steven A Smith spread the same rumors.

The key issue beyond cap, which they should have, is whether the young core of Clarkson, Randle and Russell show real skills on the court for Durant to take a chance. If West has also improved, he could be a defensive presence down low too. May get another contract if so.
