Orel is a We, he played, starred, and bled Dodger Blue. He can say We more than any other announcer that never played. The announcers teach each other to not say 'we' because they (usually) never played the game. Like how military veterans who never saw action wont call themselves veterans or consider themselves in comparison to military veterans who actually saw action. I was on my high school football team. I shattered a bunch of small bones in my pelvis and jacked up my hips and lower back before the season started and never played in a real game. So when people ask me if I ever played HS football I say no. Because i never saw game action.

Agree with you until the vet rehash...you are still wrong about this, as much as you were a few weeks ago...maybe even more. Anyone who has served his country in any branch, honorably, is a vet... period. Maybe not a combat vet, but a vet nevertheless. No one hesitates to use the word, out of the literally hundreds of vets I have known in my life.
