    Wait until these libs learn that Canada doesn't take everybody.

    In 2017, three of my fellow teachers in SoCal opted to move to BC. But when they filed their request, Canada was crystal clear: we have no need for another humanities professor. Sorry.

    The shock & disgust in them was better than Trump's victory. They just assumed the great white north took everybody. Fuck no - they don't.

    if war is hell and you make it through the fight then it means you are literally a hero of your people

    as much as i hate war for political reasons i must not hate it for some other reasons
    veterans were like superheroes to me as a kid and i wanted to grow up and be one too
    i just didnt have the makings of a varsity athlete like the guys who made it to the show

    the main reason our veterans fight foreign wars of dubious morality is so that we can play out our various different morality tales at home
    they pay the price so that we can have these safe and peaceful conditions needed for the onward and upward mobility of the human spirit

    rats with tiny hearts walk on slippery ropes and make it safely to shore surviving on the shoulders of giants
    most giants die so the coasts and the valleys can be filled with rats racing to see who is the smartest of the creeps
    people with giant hearts walk on water until all you can see is their heads above sea level
    few survive but those that do end up with their hearts filled with purple and their robes white as snow
