Kershaw hit 93 on the gun once in his outing today. Last time he did that was in 2018, when he got that number 3 times all season. For his first outing of the spring, that’s incredibly encouraging.
those extra mph ticks would go a long way to adding deception (back) to his slider
Hope it’s sustainable.
It's not. TJS in May
Can't watch the game as I am gonna buy the extra innings package through Xfinity and then link to my MLB.TV accounts, but apparently Xfinity is not ready to do that just yet :-/. Anyway. Rough first inning from the box score for Price, but it sounds like he would have been out of it if not for the wind.
Price's FB was 91-92, which is a good sign for his first outing of the year.
hey colorado, i'm going to pm you something...
Kike thought he was speedy Gonzalez lol
Never minde Kike is safe lol
Urías laboring and all over. They might want to send him to Chavez Ravine to help out in the construction projects.
Gray threw what looked like a really good change, but the ump did not give it to him.
Then he threw another one that Aquino swung right over. That is really good to see.
Bauer supposedly was telling Beaty what pitch was coming as a fuck you to the Astros.
Just a reminder of what spring is about, Gray is out there throwing what appears to be a change up almost every other pitch. So sometimes when a guy gets lit up, it is best to hold off judgement until it becomes a trend.
Gray up to 98 in this inning. Umpire is squeezing him a good bit, but he seems to be overthrowing somewhat as well. Not nearly as precise as he was in his first outing. I wasn't watching as closely as normal, but did anyone see a single slider from him?
there's times where a guy will work on a single pitch, location, etc
Saw Pedro Baez throw for the first time this spring. Baez was always big but my man looks like he put on a cool 50 pounds this offseason, wow.
Graterol looks like he could be something special. Easy-fucking-heat
