    A splash....a smidgen of water, a sprinkle will do. And use clean or distilled water when you do. Fuck the freezer.

    With Vodka, I like that in the freezer because most of the time, I don't drink it straight.

    But putting whiskey or Scotch is the freezer will kill the bouquet. It needs to get to room temp to release all the aromas and tastes. That's what the splash of water is supposed to do, though some whiskeys do better with less or nothing. Can't really get branch water here and it wouldn't be safe anyway.

    Just my 2 cents.
