This is the most depressing thread yet. All I can think of was what could have been with a strong SP in Game 3 or at least a good BP. I'm worried that the Guggs small ball/small team approach will just prolong the agony another decade at least. I could care less about the Jays, Royals, Cubs and certainly not the Mets. I guess so we still stay lower on the list of non-WS wins since the last one, I may as well hope an AL team wins this year.
Go Cubs! Why? So our "smart" FO can see their failure come full circle with Joe Maddon leading the Cubs to greatness.
look at KC sailing toward its second appearance in two years... idk but today I'm not all that surprised or upset things turned out the way they did this year they always work out the same for us probably more bothered that ed attacked doyer cause that was a little weird wouldn't mind seeing KC win it but Moms grew up in the suburbs of Chicago going to Wrigley and is really excited about that so go CUBS!
2 things about the Cubs winning the WS... 1) We can't say "At least we're not the Cubs" anymore 2) Back To The Future II will get a cult following for predicting it, and people will forget it was a shitty movie.
Is there? I was under the impression that it's getting a little run because it's 2015, but after this year it will be gone. I haven't seen III in a long time, but watched II in the last year. Some old movies hold up. Back To The Future holds up, but II does not. IMO.
