Ted Lilly will start for the Dodgers next Wednesday, with Chris Capuano heading to the disabled list with a calf strain, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News writes. The Dodgers had a brief standoff with Lilly last weekend when the lefty refused a minor-league rehab assignment. That flareup was resolved, but it still wasn't clear whether the Dodgers might trade Lilly. But with Zack Greinke and Capuano on the DL and Aaron Harang gone via trade, the Dodgers' quandary about what to do with Lilly appears to be resolved, at least for now. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/link __
You know the saying "you can never have enough pitching"....this is why. And where does Lilly get off thinking he can do what he wants with this team? Do something with this team before you think you can make personal decisions.
credit where credit is due — props to lilly or as my homey based would say... "dat nigga pitched hiz ass off! 5 innings, 1 run, 7 K's?... shit juss got real, yo." __
Stupid fucking thread who would start such a stupid fucking thread like this... "excess starting pitching" what a concept
Well, Guerrier was worse, bombing Pearl Harbor was actually a success and was effective...for at least a little while.
Uh huh. Tactical success....strategic nightmare. The question is Fordie, are we a sleeping giant? man I hate to use that word "giant"...I guess as long as it's singular. Hey, I saw another Beech Staggerwing cruising this weekend, not the all red. Keep 'em flyin'.
Ted Lilly, who allowed five runs in three innings, will have an MRI on Tuesday for recurring back and neck tightness, and will probably go back to the disabled list. somebody take this piece of shit out back and shoot him already...
we all know too well how you feel about ex-giants but don't even fucken think about it ned...
