    Yeah both Puig and Uribe went downhill after Ryu took his aroma away..may be something to that Lol
    Used to love to watch Ryu on the bases, moar.
    Seems like he always was in the middle of some action on the base paths whenever he got on, especially at home plate, and he was somewhat daring like CK too. Lol
    A fat Ryu running to the DBag's pool was a great sight, don't think he's as fat anymore tho :(

    Urias is not a hard name.
    Uribe first 3 letters are the same in both names and sound alike.
    In spanish there is an accent on the I in both names but you can say urias without the accent i guess.
    Sounds weird to me without.
    Ultimately its the same name as Urijah which is hebrew for burning for god.
    Uri means burning shining lighted etc... Thats why the ancient word for city is Ur. Because from a distance you would see all the burning lights in the evening.
    "As" being the same as Jah or Yah in many gothic inspired languages. It means god and the name Urias is derived from the gothic invasions andor celtic origins of Spain.
    The gallegos or galicians being the gaelics or goidelic of iberia or hibernia.

    Some people having a hard time with the name and asking for clarification.
    You know... Normal baseball stuff whenever a new foreign player with an unfamilliar name pops up.

    Names and their history/meaning is kind of my thing.
    Like scolding whippersnappers is yours.
